I got a copy of tomorrow’s ad in the mail today and there is no mention of frozen foods (but there is a cheese promo- yeah!)
Reader Shelly sent in her great trip from Safeway stores using this coupon last week.
She spent $11.43 after coupons for everything pictured plus a pint of blueberries and a 1lb of strawberries! It looks like $10 came off her frozen foods purchase rather than $5. That seems to be happening for quite a few of you. Great job Shellie!
I think I might do one more trip tonight:
(2) Stouffer’s Soup and Sandwiches $3 each- use $1/1 coupons
(3) Eggos $3 each- use $2/3 coupon from Frozen Foods book
Use $5/15 Safeway coupon
Total $6.00 or $1.20 an item
I am actually gonna go and get the individual CPK pizzas tonight. Do you get a catalina back for each one or just up to 3 in one transaction? Thanks.

Barbara you can call Safeway corporate and see if they will help. The coupon policy does say in ad coupons are before manufacturer coupons
Thank you SO MUCH for the reminder about the frozen food coupon expiring. I knew the CPK pizza catalina was running a while longer, but the $5 coupon makes it a much better deal. I was able to run out and get a bunch more this afternoon. =)
I did this one more time today–got 4 CA pizza kitchen individuals, 1 big CPK pizzas, 6 Lean Cuisines, 5 Simply Fruit Roll ups, 4 of the Jello Temptations, and 4 of the Better Oats (B1G1 free sale with the B1G1 free printable coupons) and spent 18, and got 12 and change back in Cats. LOVING Safeway! lol
Does anyone know if the Fruit Roll Up/Fruit Snack Catalina/prices is ending today as well? TIA!
@momto3- I have the catalina that states the Betty Crocker fruit snacks catalina is running thru 3/20.
Do the BC fruit snacks price end today or will it run another week?
.99 is not listed in next week’s ad so it probably ends today. I took a pic of the tag with my phone- so if the phone turns up somewhere I will double check that date.
The shelf tag in my store today said that today is the last day for the 99 cent sale.
I went to Winco this week and was able to get 3 of the Eggo Waffles for a total of $3.04, after using the $2/3 Q from Safeway’s frozen food booklet(each pack was $1.68 before Qs).
Cheryl I think they are the same price at Target too.
thanks for the reminder, Charlene. I went last night, got all Eggo waffles/pancakes. the original waffles rang up at 2.24 with the U program (which I dont like much). I still hit $15, used the $5, then used 2 of the 2/$3. then I got another 2 transactions of fruit snacks.
