I would recommend looking up the restaurant you want to go to and calling it before actually purchasing the gift certificate because I purchased one the other day and when I tried to use it they said they weren’t accepting them anymore. This also happened to my brother and my parents in another state. It seems the local restaurants don’t realize what they are getting into when they sign up and then don’t want to honor their contracts. I had better luck with chains, or restaurants that at least have more than one location.
