I mentioned the $10 gift card to Amazon that is available when you preorder the Lego Star Wars game yesterday.
Reader Sam let me know that Lego Pirates of the Caribbean games and Lego Ninjago have the same offer available.
You can preorder the games (for any platform) and you will get a $10 Amazon gift card within 2 days of the order shipping. The $10 is actually deposited right into your Amazon account. The Pirates game isn’t released until May but Ninjago is released at the end of March.

I also wanted to mention one idea that I am planning on doing…I am going to ‘roll’ the $10 Amazon credit.
If you can still pre-order the Star Wars game, order it and then roll the $10 onto your Ninja game. Then ‘roll’ that $10 onto the Pirates game, and still have a $10 when that one ships in May.
This is also available on Lego Star Wars 3, but it is released tomorrow. If you miss it, then check Toys ‘R Us. They will have a $10 gift card w/purchase of Lego Star Wars 3. (Luckily they do this with many releases, so I’ll be using my $10 gift card from a few months back.) I spent the day trying to decide between the DS or Wii format. Most of the moms & kids (ages 7-14) I asked said that (although more expensive) the Wii controls are easier than the DS.
