There are two Facebook giveaways today that seem promising:
Rayovac will be giving away 3,000 packs of 9V batteries– these are coupons issued (2000) will be for Lithium batteries up to $9.99 in value and (1000) are for Alkaline up to $5.99 in value. The promotion starts at 1pm CT. Click the Free 9V batteries link on the left sidebar.
These will be printable coupons so keep that in mind! Some stores will refuse to accept them.
Dairy Queen is supposed to be offering huge giveaways today at 1pm CT. You can see the details of the promotion from Dairy Queen here.
I was going to say, I tried to use the cvs coupon on facebook and they only let you use it for certain things AND it couldn’t be on sale. *sigh*
Tried to get the Rayovac coupons. When the free coupons were available, it sent me to a FB window within a FB window, and everything hung. I tried reloading a few times. Finally, about 2:25, it reloaded, and only a $1 coupon was available. Decided to grab that, what the heck, but it wanted me to “like” some insurance company. Since I have no idea how this insurance company is related to a battery company, decided not to grab it.

Just FYI- Dairy Queen isn’t giving anything away today. All they did was announce that they are doing a video contest starting the 15th to win a Mimi Cooper. But you can click on the mini blizzard link on the left and register for 6 BOGO coupons… so at least that’s something since they seemed to be very misleading about a “giveaway” today!
Yeah that was really hyped up. Stink! Those BOGO coupons are available all the time which makes me a little madder.
