Hi, Charlene, i just went to safeway and tried to buy the Jell O temptations as they are 1.99 each and use 4/1coupons that i printed from coupons.com , so, got 4 of that to get the catalina of 3.00 for buying 4 of them, but the cashiers totally refuse to take 4 coupons they said i was doubling and they said that is like shoplifting the store, can you believe that!, =( (when i was buying 4 itemsand using 4 coupons) there was no manager or supervisor in store, so nothing i can do, then went to another safeway they gladly took the coupons so i paid 3.96 and got a catalina of 3… =)
Oh my gosh I would call the 1800 # on your receipt and report the store. I was accused of shoplifting in front of my kids once at Walgreens for something similar and it still sends me into a near rage. That store needs to train the staff because that is just totally outrageous Jose.
Using a coupon according to its terms and the store’s policy is shoplifting?! Unbelievable. I would have demanded a manager on the spot, even if it meant calling him or her at home — although I find it very hard to believe there wasn’t a single supervisor in the store.
