Target: 75% off Valentine’s Day Clearance

I stopped into Target today and I was surprised to find Valentine’s Day items marked down to 75% off.  The candy was at 30% but I believe they were actually in the process of marking items down.

I didn’t see much to get excited about- we got a few things but the store was pretty picked over.  I found a Dora the Explorer book for $1.47, Silly Bandz bracelets for .44, and plastic children’s dishes for .44-.62 each.

My store also had dish towels, decorations, rugs, shower curtains and a handful of toys for 75% off.

Remember each store will have a different clearance schedule so yours might have already sold through the seasonal merchandise or might not be at 75% off yet.

Also, a few other things to look for if you decide to head out:

Reader Rachel found Mossimo jeans on clearance for $4.98 and reader Carlye found twin packs of Jif PB for $1.74.  I didn’t see anything too exciting in the bulk items clearance at my store but maybe you will have better luck!

The Southcenter (Seattle) Target was only 50% off. I was happy to see a pack of Sgtar Wars silly band type things (individual packs for V-day) but they were still $4:99!! Did someone really pay $10 for these before???

Yes!! I got the same deal on the Mac & Cheese 5 packs! There was also a cuddly bear that had a $4 off coupon when you purchased the bear and a bag of Hershey’s Kisses, which turned it into a $1 and change money maker. Keep an eye out for the Crunch or Butterfinger candies and pair it up with the Neslte printable coupons. Also, I know this is a Target post, but Wal-Mart had really cute light up mailboxes with 32 Valentine’s for 82 cents!! I had each of my boys grab one for next year 😉

Valentine’s day sales are great for finding discount items when decorating rooms and bathrooms for girls. Even for girl’s parties, like cupcake liners, icing, sprinkles, napkins, etc.
