Safeway: .99 Ore Idea and .50 Kashi

Here are two more quick Frozen Foods deal ideas from my Safeway trip today.  I will try to get it all typed up tonight.

Reader Rachel mentioned this deal and I checked it out today.  It looks like the $3 off instantly when you buy 3 Ore Ida or Gorton’s items is still running through March 1st. That goes nicely with the Frozen Foods promotion AND the $1/1 Ore Idea Sweet Potato fries coupon from the Frozen Foods booklet.

{Deal Idea}

Buy 3 Ore Ida Sweet Potato Fries at $2.99 (you can mix and match with other Ore Ida or Gorton’s items but prices vary)
Get $3 off at checkout
and Use (3) $1/1 coupons from the Frozen Foods booklets
Final Price: $.99 per bag

Now combine this with some other items to hit the $15 mark and you can also use the $5/15 Safeway coupon!

Kashi waffles were priced at $2.50 at my store.  If you happened to score those $2 off Kashi coupons, they are .50 a box!

Again, you can combine this with the $5/15 frozen foods coupon for a better deal!

    Does Safeway count the full $2.99 price of each of the sweet potato fries towards the $15, or do they count the amount after the $3 discount? Thanks for your help!

    Hi there, I was about to do the potato deal, but found out that I need to purchase the ones that weight 24-32 oz in order to get the $3 off. And the sweet potatoes are only 16oz. Can someone confirm that for me?

    My son loves sweet potato fries! If I buy 6 to try to hit the $15 mark will two $3 catalina’s print or only one?

    Not sure Nicole. This is not a catalina offer it is an instant discount. The question is if the $2.99 price counts to the $15 or the $1.99 price. I am thinking $2.99 but only if you can get the cashier to swipe your coupon before you scan your club card. If you scan your club card your total will fall to $1.99 instantly and I don’t think it will work.

    Jenny the signage said 20oz on the freezer doors but then you can see from my picture it was very clearly marked as including the sweet potato fries. So it should work. I would look for the tags in your store and if you have any problems just bring it to their attention.

    Hi Coupon Friends, Just wanted to FYI that at my Safeway the Sweet Potato Fries (Ore Ida) rang up at 2.49 each, though marked on the shelf for 2.99. Bought 3xOre Ida SP Fries at $2.49/each, 3xEggo Products at $2/each, 1xMacaroni Grill product $5.99. Used 3x$1 Ore Ida, 1x$2 off 3 Eggos and $1 off MG products. After $3 off Ore Ida instantly (did not come off instantly, had to go to CS ) and $5 off frozen foods, total was just ~$5. Not too bad.
