The Redbox Groupon is available once again- you can get 3 movie rentals for $1.
This expires June 1st so you have plenty of time to use your voucher.
You can purchase the Groupon directly here– if you don’t see it try logging in or registering for an account first.
It looks like Swagbucks has this offer available for 315 bucks today as well.
It is a little tricky to get the offer but try this:
- Head over to Swagbucks and click on Earn
- Then Click on Daily Deals
- You won’t see the Redbox offer but you will probably see a Groupon deal in your area. Click ANY Groupon deal you can see regardless of what it is for. (I clicked on an auto repair Groupon for Seattle.)
- Then look for a banner at the top of the screen that looks like this:
You should be able to get 315 bucks for purchasing that way.
If you are new to Swagbucks be sure to get your 80 free bucks first!!

This Redbox deal says you can buy one for yourself, and 2 more to give as gifts, but will I receive additional SBs if I do this?
Thanks –

I did this and did not recieve the Swagbucks credit. Maybe it will take longer than usual to credit??? Here’s hoping!

I can’t find it in my Swagbucks daily deals. 🙁
Oh, well, it’s still a great deal! We do Redbox a lot!
Charlene says
Elizabeth did you follow the directions in the post? I didn’t see it either. I clicked for a car tune up deal and found it. You might check again.

I clicked on a local deal, said I was leaving swagbucks, and when I was at thr groupon site I saw the rdebox deal. I haven’t seen any swagbucks yet, not sure I will but keeping my fingers crossed. 🙂

I don’t think it is immediately posted to your account. I would say 24-48 hours probably because Groupons take that long to process most of the time.
I do get about 1000 comments every single Groupon post to go through Swagbucks so if they do not appear please let me know and I won’t post this again.
Elizabeth says
Yes, I did, Charlene. My deals only seem to be for some site called Mertado. Maybe it’s a regional thing with Swagbucks. Thanks for your patient help, though! I ended up just buying one the normal way. : )

I have never gotten my bucks when doing a groupon on living social deal thru swagbucks (my 3rd time so far) but the first time i emailed trial play thru their website and they credited my bucks. 2nd time they asked for a copy of the groupon which i sent right away but haven’t gotten the bucks and it has been a while. i think i just need to email them again!

I did this and haven’t seen any swagbucks. We’ll see. However, I just did the chocolates.com groupon which was listed under my local groupon daily deals in swagbucks and received the 315 swagbucks instantly. If it doesn’t receive the swagbucks, no biggie. I was gonna buy it anyway.

I haven’t received the swagbucks for it yet. The groupon has already processed. I sent an email through a link on Swagbucks asking about the missing points to Trialpay.
I would have bought the groupon anyways – but the points would be nice.

One thing I noticed is that when I clicked on a random deal and it took me to the groupon site the web address clearly had a tracker showing where I came from (saying trial play) in order to earn swagbucks. When I then clicked on the Redbox banner at the top a new tab opened in my browser with that deal and it was just a regular groupon web address. I will be really surprised if swagbucks are given for the redbox deal.
Lisa says
The swagbucks daily deals specify certain Groupon purchases. Since the Redbox deal is not specifically listed I don’t think it will give the points.

My last Groupon purchase through Swagbucks was like Melissa’s – SB confirmed instantly.

Ok thank you everyone. This seems to be a massive headache so I am not posting it anymore. If anyone wants to fool with it on their own they can for future deals but it is too confusing for me to detail all this out each time I post Groupon deals.
