New Safeway Deals: Haagen Dazs, Tyson, Old El Paso and More…

02/03/2011. This post may contain affiliate links. Read my Disclosure Policy.

There are several new Safeway deals to mention.  None of these were featured in the ad so you may not find the exact same prices- but certainly worth looking for!

I noticed a sign on the ice cream cooler for a free $20 Gift Certificate to Red Enevlope when you spend $10 on Haagen Dazs items.  The sign said purchase any items size 3.6oz or larger and/or bars 3pk or larger in one transaction before 5/31 and get a $20 Red Envelope gift certificate at the register.  (I imagine this is a catalina coupon that will print).  There is a limit of one per transaction and you can find all the details about the Red Envelope and Haagen Dazs promotion here.

I noticed that Banquet Chicken Nuggets are part of the Buy 3 Save $3 promotion this week.

They are priced at $2.99 per bag when you buy 3.  I think that is a good price without any coupons actually.

The Kellogg’s Crunchy Nut cereal is priced at $1.99 when you buy 4.
Use $1/1 from 1/23 RP (this was a regional coupon)
Final Price: .99
*This is .25-.75 per box at Target this week!

You might check for an Old El Paso catalina deal running at your store.

Buy 3 Old El Paso items and get $1 back
or Buy 5 and Get $3 back

Taco Shells are priced at $.99
Or Refried beans are $1.25

{Deal Idea}
Buy 5 Taco Shells at $.99
Get $3 catalina back
Final Price: $1.99 for 5 boxes or .40 each!

(Thanks Saving with Shellie)

Tyson Nuggets were listed in the weekly ad as Buy One Get One Free $8.99/2
It looks like they might be actually priced at $5.79- Buy One Get One Free
Use the $1/1 from 1/30 SS or 1/23 SS
Final Price: $4.79 for 2 bags or $2.40 each!

That is a fantastic price!

(Thanks Saving with Shellie!)

Charlene – Love your blog and read it daily. I was just searching for the Tyson coupon and came across an Old El Paso Q in the 1/30 SS. It’s $0.50/1. Just thought I’d share :)

No I forgot. You know if you call your store they will tell you. Half the deals I post are from calling stores for a price check :)

Ugh.. I totally went to Safeway today too and didn’t even look at it. Bummer! =) It never fails that when I get back from a store someone finds some super awesome deals that make me go back ;) ;)

Annoying. So many coupons are not in the database these days! That is a great find Laura makes these free for me! Whoo hoo-

I checked online for the Barilla plus and they don’t seem to count :(
I always use this grocery delivery tool to find what price is it in my area (Sac. area) plus I can also find the ingredients in some products, it’s a really great tool to use.

Thanks for the tips ladies!!! I thought about calling once, and then I thought “They are gonna think I am crazy! They wont search the store to find what I am looking for and tell me the price!” Guess I was wrong!! :)
