Well first let me say thanks to everyone that let me know about the book- especially those of you that sent in pictures of the booklet! I finally stopped in today and picked one up so I can list out everything inside.
I actually found two booklets that you will want to keep an eye out for. The first is the one on the right side which was located in the produce department at my store. That is very easy to walk past and guess what? Inside is a coupon for $1 off a $5 produce purchase! There is a limit of 1 and mine expires 8/3.
The second is the frozen foods book which I found on the freezer cases at my store. You might also check in customer service. I would encourage you to keep an eye out because March is Frozen Foods month so most stores will have great promotions running on a variety of products. It looks like all of these expire 4/30.

I just found out from another couponer that our store is holding the books at Customer Service and will only give one per customer.
I think that really stinks. Makes me not want to go do my grocery shopping there this week and go to Winco instead.
Carla – I see both sides…it does stink for those of us who are responsible and only take a couple of books. However, I have seen people at my Safeway grab the entire stock of the coupons books from a display, so at least it will make the coupons available for more people. I usually go shopping with my hubby, so each of us can get a coupon book if it is like that at my store….
and being that I see coupons for sale on ebay….I think people are hoarding them so they can mass-sell them. I am not sure how fair that is??
just reading about these additional little books. From what I read the books pictured by Charlene experied 4/30…so is there a new one begining 5/1? Maybe I should walk up to customer service and ask.
I am learning so much about couponing. My budget and family are going to thrive because of it.
Lorena the produce coupons have not expired. The other one did so there is nothing to be done about that.
I just got a Facebook update stating that Safeway has a brochure celebrating the graduates with over $30 in coupons. Gonna look for that and the produce one today!
