I used the cleaning item coupon yesterday for the dryer sheets and didn’t beep, went through just fine. 🙂

I went on a cleaning supply shopping spree yesterday at Target. We ran out of laundry detergent…. How does that happen? I used a few high value coupons and got some of those Purex sheets that are all in one, some Method detergent that you use 4 pumps per load and another bottle of some other brand. I usually get Tide but I was feeling adventurous yesterday (and frugal). I got up and up bleach wipe things with my $1 coupon, with my son potty training I can’t get enough of those things!

LOL–I used my up and up $1 off any oral care item–and the cashier thought I was stretching it when I used it on FLOSS. They just looked at the mouthwash picture and assumed it was for mouthwash only. UGGG.

so I have a dumb question…I just started coming on this website so I am very NEW here… but was wondering if you can get like 2 items and use 2 coupons… in other words, I really want to get the kelloggs crunchy nut cereal but can you only buy 1 with the coupon or can I get 2 boxes of cereal and give the cashier 2 coupons each to get them for .50 cents or whatever the price is….
thanks in advance 🙂
Charlene says
Lisa- you have to learn your Target store. Technically the limit is one like Target coupon per transaction. So that means you need to buy 1 box and go through the line again and buy another etc.. etc.. The vast majority of stores do not impose those limits. So most likely you can buy a few boxes and use the two coupons to get them for .50 each.

I had a trip that shocked my family today! I purchased 2 pairs of jeans on clearance ($4.98 each), a can of Wolfgang Puck soup, 2 24 ct pkgs of ibuprofen, a bag of Halls cough drops, 2 bottles of 7th generation dishwashing liquid and 2 10 count pkgs of Finish…. with all my coupons, my grand total was $2.12! My husband was there when I went through the register & was floored! My favorite kind of trip! Thank you so much for all the work you put in to the matchups! I love getting these good deals!

YEAH! How fun for you Donna! And the best part is that is all quality things! Not just free candy bars or little junk- really useful things.

I used the $1 Up & Up Oral Care coupon on Floss yesterday too–worked perfectly. Register adjusted it down to 0.00 cost. and then: Catalina coupon machine printed me another $1 off Up & Up Oral Care coupon & it specifically mentioned FLOSS on it!!! It also mentioned mouthwash, toothpaste, toothbrushes.

LOVED your list of Target deals…I had no idea Target even had coupons! I did run into one problem though; the Target coupon and the manufacturer coupons did not stack! I saw the cashier *beep* them through but my receipt only showed that I got credit for 1 coupon per item. I tried to stack coupons for both a 7th Generation cleaning item and the Kellogg’s Crunchy Nut cereal to no avail. Just curious to know if anyone else has had problems, if it’s a Target policy (local to my store?), or if it was the cashier…
Charlene says
Hannah they are a little weird. You really have to have an advance degree in mathematics to sort through those receipts. Typically a Target coupon will not be reflected on your receipt. It will just adjust the price. So if you have a box of cereal at $2.50 and you use a $1 Target coupon, the Target coupon won’t show up on your receipt but if you look carefully the cereal will say $1.50.
At least that is how my receipts look. Now if you look and the coupons really were not applied correctly, you can take them to customer service the next time you shop and ask for a missed coupon refund. Most stores will give you cash for the coupon value. It may have been your cashier that wasn’t doing it right because usually it is easy peasy to coupon at Target.
