You might check your local ad and grab the in ad coupon get get this price.

If you don’t shop at Safeway, this is still a fantastic coupon!

    Unrelated question:

When I got my catalina’s a few days ago, there was an ad announcing (i think) that if you bought a bouquet of flowers and a $50 gift card, you’d get a $10 cat. I can’t seem to figure out what I did with this slip, so can anyone confirm that? I was thinking of using the $3 Safeway bouquet coupon from the Football coupon book on a Good Luck bouquet (making it $5.99), then buying a $50 Safeway card (since I’ll no doubt spend it). I just want to make sure I got the Cat right and that its valid on Safeway coupons. Any help?

    Correction:

“valid on Safeway GIFT CARDS”. Sorry

The link tells me I’ve already printed this coupon the allotted number of times. I guess it is just an older link that hasn’t actually reset. Anyone else having trouble with this one?

I was just going to chime in and say there are no more coupons. 🙁

When I coupon says you have already printed it just means the coupon is out of prints in general. So it must have ended late last night or early this morning.

Question… I went in yesterday and bought some… boo! Didn’t know a coupon was around the corner LOL. Anyway, it isn’t showing on my Just for U anymore and I’m wondering if I could clip one from the ad and use it or will it not let me?

Sarah that is one downside to Just for U- they seem to be able to track and enforce the limits on these coupons. I think you can try it and pay close attention and if the coupon doesn’t adjust the price you’ll have to see if they can correct it for you.

I printed 4 of these babies last night:-) I really need corn tortillas right now though. DH and I are on a healthy eating kick. I was thinking maybe I could use them to get whole wheat flour tortillas… But free tortillas are soo tempting. I think the expiration date is the end of April so I’m sure we’ll use ’em by then.

    Stephanie,

You can always freeze them. I make up bean burritos and freeze them individually, toss into a freezer bag. Then when the kids are hungary for something quick and easy they grab one of those instead of chips or candy.

That is a great idea! I have a bag of pinto beans to cook up too!

Wow the limit is 10 on the Safeway coupon… Maybe I will just get 4 cheap packs of tortillas.

I just tried to use two of them at safeway, but the cashier refuse to take it, then, i call the manager, but she said that if it can’t be scanned they can’t accept it… anyway i found my trip to safeway worth since i got 4 12’s pack coca cola prouct for 10.02 tax and crv included… that was with the cupon from the circular that i got on the mail…

Oh man, that stinks… I’m going to do some cashier profiling when I go to Safeway… I heard, I think on the TLC show??? You should go for young guys. I’ve found this to be true. They generally don’t sweat the small stuff will just scan the coupons won’t take all day reading the coupons, etc. I read them and I follow the rules. One instance that comes to mind is a few weeks ago Safeway had the Kraft singles on in store coupon, I think it was .99?? Well my store was all out of the correct ones, so I grabbed the same size but in “light” (bonus!) and just told the young, male cashier that they were all out and he let me use the coupon! It was a store coupon so it’s not like they’d lose money. I’ve had a few other experiences like that. I’m totally profiling my cashiers from now on… Lol.

Well yes of course Stephanie. Any young person really won’t get too invested and they just make things easier usually. Sometimes the guys are sloppy and impatient though so I don’t think it is quite that simple. I always look for someone that doesn’t appear like they are going to ruin my day and if I find they are stinkers I will remember them. I have had plenty of young guys that were ridiculous- telling me no coupons on clearance items etc…

lol… i’ll try to do that next time… i really don’t k now whats the matter with them, the store doesn’t lose anything, since the manufacturer reimburse the amount of the coupon plus shipping and handling … 😉

Lol, Charlene I think you should do a post about profiling your checkers;-) Sounds like you are a pro.
