There is a Groupon available today for $40 in flowers from FTD florist for $20.

I checked this out last night and I would encourage you to look at the pricing before you buy your Groupon.

So you might test it out with shipping to see what you will really be paying before you make your purchase just to be sure you are really getting a good deal!

If you buy it through swagbucks, you get 900 SBs! That’s $10 in Amazon gift cards. So maybe that will help make it worth it?

I did this with the proflowers deal that they had on Rue La La…and wow, the additional costs added up so quickly! They wanted standard shipping + additional fees for valentines day delivery…I ended up changing my shipping date to this Friday instead of next Monday and saved $5….And they didn’t want to give me the vase that says its free on the website because I used my code from Rue La La, and I had emailed them after my order was purchased and I noticed that I had been charged. They were very nice about it and are refunding my money for the vase since it wasn’t clearly stated. It saved me some money, but still cost a bit more than anticipated.

I got this because I always send my mother flowers for Easter and Mother’s Day. Delivery is always expensive. So if it can save me $20, I’m all over it.

FTD.com seems to have the most expensive shipping charges, 1800flowers seems to be the best, except for the usual extra charges around holidays. Remember to go to any of them through ebates.com and get a certain percentage back….I racked up a lot of cash back through them on Christmas gifts this past year!
