Free Trial Membership to Netflix

My husband and I have been talking about this for a few weeks now and I thought I’d mention it to you guys as well.

We used to have a Redbox right down to street and they closed down so now I have to go way out of the way to rent a movie or pay $4 from Amazon.

So we have been talking about a Netflix membership and right now they are offering a free 30 day trial.

You get a 30 day trial of the service and it starts immediately.  If you like the service, you can continue on with it starting at $7.99/month.  If you don’t like it, just cancel anytime before the end of the 30 days and there is no fee at all.

The free trial is for the new instant streaming service which allows you to immediately watch the movie of your choice and you can stream it on your computer or through a video game console.  If you prefer DVDs to arrive in the mail, it costs $2 more for the service.

You can get more details on the Netflix free trial offer here.

We have had netflix for over 2 years now… so much better than redbox! Its awesome. Not only can you watch a ton of instant movies but its super cheap to rent them through out the month with your plan. 🙂

If you do decide to go with Netflix, make sure to sign up through Swagbucks. You get over 400 swagbucks for signing up through them, I think.

I am currently trying this, the only thing I don’t like is that they don’t offer any new releases. You can only get those if you get the dvd’s mailed to your house.

I can’t say enough good things about Netflix. It is one of those services that you can’t believe you ever lived without. It can be a great thing to ask for as a birthday or holiday present, too! (Easy for older parents to buy and fun for everyone!)

I use to have Netflix and I loved it. I also have to drive quite a bit to get to my nearest red box or BB express. I only canceled it because we were at a time in our lives where we had to cut costs, but I will definately be joining again . I especially loved the streaming through our xbox, they always had so many movies to choose from, mostly older but alot I’ve never seen before.

I just won a 2-month membership through the Pop Secret contest and I LOVE IT. The turn around is super-fast. I filled my queue on Sunday and had my first movie by Tuesday, mailed it back on Wednesday and had my 2nd movie by Friday. Amazing. I am going to be ordering a few HBO/SHO series seasons too, since I love their shows but we don’t subscribe to those channels.

I have had Netflix in the past and really liked it. We are considering dropping our cable provider altogether and going with the new Amazon streaming you mentioned yesterday for $6.58 a month ($79/year).

We have Netflix streaming and love it! My kids were sick for two weeks… it totally saved us! There are sooooo many things for the kids to watch – helps mommy keep her sanity. And I love watching series I don’t get a chance to, like Dexter and Weeds (since we don’t pay for showtime).

The wonderful thing about Netflix is that you can rent practically any movie ever released, including your favorite oldies. TV series too. I only rent from Redbox when I have a freebie code.

We watch Netflix on a ROKU box. Love it. You can also use other devices to watch Netflix on your tv.

I like Netflix. They’re much cheaper than paying for cable. I’m doing the 30 day trial now. I used to have Netflix 2 years ago, but they kept me from renting as many movies and I possible, so it wasn’t worth it back then. I was only getting about 5 movies a month in the mail no matter how fast I sent them back. Decided to give them another chance now that they are streaming movies and tv shows.

I like the streaming bit. Just wish there were more movie/tv shows to stream. I’m probably going to cancel at the end of the month for that reason. Once they get more things in the streaming section, I’ll come back to Netflix. They’re just not quite where I want them to be yet.

We have Netflix also. I think it’s one of the best things that I’ve done. We watch instant movies all the time! Yes some are old but really, if I want a new release, I just add it to my queue and it pops up to the active queue when it’s available. As some others have said, the turn around time for the actual DVD’s if very quick! With the instant streaming (we have it through PS3 and Wii) and the DVD’s, we get more than our money’s worth!

We have both Netflix and HuluPlus. If I had to keep one, I would choose HuluPlus. Not only is the interface a little better but also, with it, you can practically cancel your cable provider and/or TiVo service if you use it because most major networks allow HuluPlus to stream their shows. I believe they still allow people a 2-week trial period and it is also $7.99/month.

Please cancel my ‘free’ membership.’ After seeing the examples, I am just not interested.

I have recorded this note in my desk log as of this moment.

Gerald, I don’t have anything to do with Netflix. You might want to contact them directly. I believe it is Netflix.com.
