Food and Wine Magazine: 3 Free Issues

(Mental note, do not look at covers of food magazines when you haven’t eaten breakfast yet.)

This is actually a funny promotion, Pepcid is offering a 3 month free subscription to Food and Wine magazine right now.

I am personally not a fan of free trial magazines but I don’t see anywhere that requires a credit card so this should be fine.

If you want to get a full subscription of Food and Wine there are two good offers right now:

Amazon has 2 years priced at $24.95 with $10 credit back to use on a future Amazon purchase.  That makes the net price $14.95 for 2 years or .62 per issue.

Groupon also has a subscription available today- get 15 issues of the magazine for $12.00.  That makes it .80 per issue.  Just head over to Groupon and look off to the right to see the deal.

(Thanks Deal Finding Chik)

I made the mistake of signing for this so-called freebie. Voila, I got a bill last week for the full subscription price, with NO mention of any free issues!

I just got my bill today for a year of this magazine for $19.99. No 3 free issues mentioned. 🙁

Same here! It is not free! Got a bill today for the full amount. Very disappointed 🙁

Me too! Anyone know if you can send the bill back with “CANCEL” on it and not have to pay?

Ok sorry everyone. I can only post what I see and it is hard to always predict exactly what will happen. Did you read it? I don’t see how they can demand payment from you- I would probably read it and see what it says or just throw it away.

I don’t blame you at all, Charlene. I did go back to my bill and an email I received, and there was no mention anywhere of 3 free issues. If you log in to the website with your information, you can cancel your subscription on line if you don’t want to pay the $20. Thanks for all the great posts!
