Where do you get papers for 50 cents each? I get my extras at the dollar store for a buck each and I thought that was a good deal!

I always look forward to your matchups. On the colgate, the All You coupon is for the 5.8oz or larger and sale is on the 4oz.

I can get Thursday papers for .50 and they have extra copies of the inserts.

  8. Stephanie says

    02/19/2011 at 9:33 PM

This, I believe is for the Placer Herald, not everyone can find it.
You have to live North of Sac, to be able to find it.

  9. Sarah says

    02/19/2011 at 10:06 PM

Where do you pick up the Thursday paper from?

  10. Charlene says

    02/19/2011 at 10:47 PM

Sarah if you don’t live in the same county I do it doesn’t matter. I get the Placer Herald in my city so that is where the coupons are. If you live outside this area, I would encourage you to just look at the papers daily in your area. Some cities, like Seattle, have all the coupons and ads and such in the Saturday paper which is cheaper. The vast majority of people are probably only going to find coupons in the Sunday paper.

Thank you for this information. I live in San Joaquin county so I’ll be double checking the newspaper stands through out the week to try to get the newspaper w/ coupons for cheaper. =)

Just got back from my CVS trip where I saved $55.04!! I bought 1 mini cadbury eggs, 1 pampers cruisers, 1 Purex liquid detergent, 1 Purex detergent sheets, Physician Formula foundation (75% off), Loreal hairspray, Loreal conditioner, 2 Dove dark chocolate eggs (B1G1). Anyone know the count on the Purex 3 in 1 that’s on sale @ CVS & Wags?

    Thx

  16. Stacie says

    02/20/2011 at 11:12 PM

I didn’t see in the ad nor in the store the liquid purex for $1.99. I got the 3n1s for .99, but not the other. Can anyone help me please?

  17. Charlene says

    02/21/2011 at 12:17 AM

Stacie, all drugstore ads can have some regional variations. If you don’t see the laundry soap listed on the same page as the other Purex, your area may not have had this sale.

  18. Stacie says

    02/21/2011 at 1:36 AM

Thanks Charlene. I am only 90 minutes north of you. It’s weird that we wouldn’t have it too. I really wanted to stock up for my care packages. Thanks for all you do. 🙂

  19. sarah mcreynolds says

    02/21/2011 at 12:08 PM

My purex laundry liquid soap shows in the ad as buy 1 get 1 free. Does that mean they are 1.99 each? Help!

  20. Charlene says

    02/21/2011 at 12:28 PM

No you probably didn’t get this deal Sarah. The ad I looked at has it listed at $1.99. If you got BOGO the price is usually really inflated in stores- probably $6. Even with (2) $1 coupons that is a terrible deal at $2 each.

  21. Sarah says

    02/21/2011 at 4:17 PM

M&M’s deal was even better for me. They still had Valentine’s candy left at .99 per bag. I was able to get 2 bags for a total of .48 with the $1.50 coupon.

Check your print outs from scanning your cards. I have one for the Snickers Peanut Butter “buy 1 get 1 free”
added to the insert coupon = free free, and halfway toward 1ecb
