Aw, Charlene you are the best! My little one is home today wearing his underwear and baby legs. I’m SOO happy that he is doing so well with his potty training… Although I do have a practically new huge pack of pull ups and a practically new huge pack of Huggies Snug n Dry from these deals… I think I’m going to offer to get some diapers for my neice with my latest round of Amazon coupons:-)
Charlene says
Stephanie you know the worst case you can sell them on Craigslist too. Or diapers are probably the kindest thing you can donate 😉
Stephanie says
Yeah, I know they won’t go to waste. Also he sleeps in our bed most nights and I’m not ready to let him sleep in our bed without a diaper. We’ll just celebrate in the morning if/when the diaper is dry:-) Hopefully I do get to donate some of them.

Hi Charlene,
Quick question about Amazon Mom. In order to extend Prime for Amazon Mom, do you know if the $25 is before or after the subscribe & save price. I am little confused on how to reach my total in order to extend my membership. If you know, I’d appreciate the insight. Thanks for all you do!!
angie says
does anyone want to trade coupon codes? I have a couple $10 off amazon baby codes but can only use one, it would be helpful for me to have the 20% off code if anyone has that one and would like to trade. Thanks [email protected]
Beth Long says
Jen, I was surprised to learn that my membership was extended with my last order of Huggies diapers. Here was the math:
Item Subtotal: $32.75
Shipping and handling: $0.00
Promotion Applied: $-6.55 (20% off coupon from magazine)
Promotion Applied: $-6.55 (20%coupon from magazine)
Subscription Discount: $-9.83
Total: $9.82
So it must have counted the price before any discounts. I hope that helps!
And Charlene, thanks so much for spelling it out for me! I am stocking up for our new baby this summer!!

Ok moms, I am pregnant with my second one and am building up me stock pile for the next. Two kids in diapers = $$$$ I am trying to think back and can’t seem to remember how many jumbo packs of each size I used. How many jumbo packs in each size do you think I should get? Thanks all you moms! 🙂

Gretchan~
I read on another site this cool list of diapers by the size. They’re just estimates depending on how big/small your lil one is:
(measured in jumbo packs)
5 – newborn
8 – Size 1
14 – Size 2
40 – Size 3
40- Size 4
20 – Size 5
20 – Size 6
(My lil guy never made it past 5…and I only pushed him into 5s so they’d absorb more…heehee. And he seemed to stay in 3s for a yr or so…I adjusted the quantities for my next one based on him)
Hope this helps! 🙂

I was also going to recommend A LOT of size 3. That is what I recall that he was in a size 3 for a LONG time. I have no idea on the numbers….

Last week, I was surprised to learn you can stack 20% off codes as long as the first 2 letters are different, i.e. YJ vs. YT. I had 2 that were expiring on 2/28 so I ordered some Pampers Baby Dry size 5 (156) and got them for $13.42 with WA tax!
Rachel R. says
p.s. My 2 kids were in size 5 the longest…but it probably seems far off when you’re thinking about a newborn! 🙂
Katie says
I just realized that Amazon is an even better deal (potentially) than drugstores/regular stores, because you don’t pay tax. I’ve never really considered it before, but it’s about a 10% difference in Cali. I’ve always just jumped on the drugstore deals, but now I’ll have to take that into consideration as well.
Just a thought!
Thanks for all the diaper info…we have two in diapers here!
Charlene says
Katie- yup. It actually makes a big enough difference. Somebody was saying they got a big box of diapers for .15 after coupons at Target today. I think it was the $35 boxes- so not only a penny more per diaper but there is an extra $2.88 for tax alone. That makes the diaper cost a lot higher. I don’t get it really. Unless you have special coupons or something who wants to fool with running to the drugstores every week, dealing with the coupons and spending all that extra time just to pay more 😛 Plus if you have those 20% off coupons you are paying maybe .09 or so per diaper- so now you have not only hassled with Target but you paid almost double for your diapers for your extra trouble. So I don’t understand it. .09 per diaper on Pampers is $3.00 for a Jumbo pack.

Thank you for all your help ladies. I appreciate all the advice.

Thanks for this list – I love comparing the different brands’ pricing! I’ve been happy to find the Seventh Generation training pants size 2-3T on sale for $38.36, $26.85 through Subscribe and Save, $0.23 each. Character underpants seem like a more exciting option when the training pants are plain.

I got the Luvs diapers (size 3, 204 count). Amazon mom % + Ship subscription discount % + (2) 20% off Amazon Codes + $5.00 Amazon Cert from swag bucks + $5.00 Amazon Cert from Opinion Outpost (survey site)= $0.38 cents for 204 diapers. Yay!! (that’s officially $0.0018 per diaper LOL)
My daughter has been in size 3’s FOREVER…as was my son. Currently my daughter will be 1 in a week and is around 20 lbs (which is around the 30th percentile on the growth chart–so around 22lbs would be in the 50th percentile at this stage); she’s been in 3’s since around 6 months. My son has always been on the skinny size and went straight from size 3 to potty training.
Kellie Hornick says
@Jen: pretty sure it’s based off the regular price. I usually get the Luvs (which comes to around $24 after the subscription/discounts) and I always get my amazon prime extended (which, it says, applicable purchases of $25 or more to extend)

Here are two codes for 20% off…enjoy

Charlene – I was just able to score a box of size 3 for free!! I subscribed to Huggies size 3, qty 96, for 19.54. Used a 20% code and a $10 off baby purchase to bring my total to 4.94. Used a gift card earned from swagbucks to pay for it so zero out of my pocket! What an AWESOME way to get free diapers!!

Anyone else having trouble using the coupons all the sudden? I have done these deals several times and all the sudden it won’t let me use my coupon codes. It brings up an error tjhat says “We’re sorry, but the promotional code you entered cannot be applied to this purchase. Please refer to your promotional coupon for information about item or store restrictions.”
I have two 20% off codes and it isn’t letting me use either. I tried both on a case of Huggies and then tried again on a case of Pampers and nothing worked. Both ones I tried were sold by Amazon, they are original coupon codes (so not used before) and haven’t expired. I’m hoping its just a glitch and that Amazon isn’t ending these awesome deals!
Gretchan says
Lisa-
Have you already made an order on your account this month? If you look on the back of the coupon it states one per person. I’d ask a friend or loved one to do the order on their account for you. See if that works. Good luck.

I receive the Parents magazine in the mail, mine had the 20% off in it, I also get babytalk in the mail, that also had a 20% off in it…
I went into our local Kroger, and checked the Parents magazines on the shelf and they had the $10 off coupon in it!!!
