Update: Amazon Gift Cards from Living Social

I assumed everyone that purchased the discounted Amazon gift cards from Living Social would have already received their cards by now. It didn’t occur to me that some of you are still waiting.

I wanted to let you know that if you bought a card and have not yet received an email from Living Social, you just need to log into your account to get it.

Look for the large banner ad that is pictured above and click on that. They will instantly give you a code that you can enter at checkout on Amazon or you can go into Your Account and enter the code.  Amazon will save the $20 in your account until you are ready to shop (just like with Swagbucks gift cards.)  When you shop the funds will come off automatically and any additional funds you may have will just wait in your account until you shop again.

I just got an email regarding my gift card, followed the instructions and got it easily posted to my amazon account. Have already purchased an IPOD Touch case and screen cover and still have $10.00 left!! Woo hoo!

I figured that out! I got mine.

But they gave you the option at the end to email the deal to three friends and you got a discount or something if all three friends purchased the deal…well I sent it to my three co-workers and they never got the link, I also posted it to FB and the post never showed up. Just putting that out there for next time. Seems sneaky but I could be wrong.

I emailed several friends as well and they never got the link either. I posted it to fb successfully but nobody took advantage of my link, unfortunately.

I posted it to FB and 3 friends signed up, so I got my $20 free. Now that’s a good deal!

I did get mine free for referring three people. My dad bought one though and he got an email saying he tried to buy multiple cards and that it wasn’t allowed – so he wasn’t allowed any. He did not try to buy multiples. I’m not sure why they didn’t let him buy the one even if he was trying to buy multiples.

Oh Carrie that stinks! Most of us don’t read the fine print so how rude! You are right- if you can buy more well that is their fault. I tried to buy 2 and they took one away but gave me one :).
