There are two deals on Tassimo machines right now to get them for $99.
Reader Anu found the TAS1000UC brewer for $129 on Amazon. Shipping is free and there is a $30 mail in rebate– which makes your final price $99.
This is the machine I have had for about a year and it is still going strong for me.

This one looks a little smaller to me and comes in either black or white.
You get the Tassimo brewbot for $99 and shipping is free. This also comes with 2 packs of disks. I believe they are enrolling you in home delivery service of the disks- so you can cancel that at anytime. All the fine print is clearly outlined at the bottom of the page.
There is a little video on the page for 1 minute and that shows you how the machine works. The only added comment is that you need to keep the water filled up on the back of the machine- but it really is that easy to make drinks.
The same brewbot is also $129 on Amazon with a $30 rebate back. This one has the little inserts that you can buy to change the color of the machine.

I got this before Christmas as a gift for my aunt and uncle who host all the holidays… My DH saw it and was so excited, then I told him it wasn’t for us… Ah, I do really want one…
I love my Tassimo my mom got me for Christmas. Mine is the big $170 dollar one but it had a $50 rebate. And when you register your Tassimo you get to pick 2 free packs of coffee/hot cocoa and they send them to you. I got a 16 pack of Maxwell House Cappicino and hot cocoa!

Amy- I have a toddler having a tantrum right now so I will just give you my very quick opinion. I test drove the Keurig B60 and I personally thought it was a nicer machine just in looks and ease of use. It is MUCH bigger though so counter space is a consideration. The KCups for Keurig tend to go on sale a=on Amazon for cheaper than you really ever see Tassimo disks. I usually buy my disks at Target for about $7. The Tassimo does offer more choices as far as esperesso-y type drinks. The Keurig has new apple cider which sounds yummy but maybe not worth the extra expense. So that is my opinion 🙂
Oh wow-I was just searching FB and Frugal Adventures to try to find this deal and couldn’t find it. Boy am I glad you posted. I think the Keurig allows you to use your own coffee if you buy a special filter-does the tassimo? The espresso type drinks sound appealing to me though….the size of the Keurig is a consideration….decisions decisions. Maybe I will have to just keep making it in my little french press. That doesn’t take much room…..I just like to KNOW my coffee is going to be GOOD or right the first time-that’s why these other pots appeal to me.
Yes that is another great point. keurig has the thingy for your own coffee and Tassimo does not. To me, I like the convenience of just popping in the disk.
