Target: Workout DVDs $4 after Rebate

I mentioned this in the Target deals for the week and wanted to follow up and let you know the details.

Target has several workout DVDs on sale this week for $10.  The DVDs include a free magazine subscription to More, Fitness etc….  You can decline those subscriptions and instead submit for a rebate for the value of the magazine.

According to the ad, all the DVDs should have this offer but I noticed at my store only some had the sticker on the front that confirmed the rebate.  I bought Jillian Michaels 6 week 6pack for $10 and inside there is a postcard to get the rebate or the magazine.  My rebate has a value of $6.13 but they might vary according to magazine offered.  You should be able to see the value of the rebate right on the sticker pictured above.

So if you also get a $6.13 rebate, that makes the total price of the DVDs $3.87 + the cost of a stamp.

So this seems like a great deal to me.!

If you prefer to order from Amazon- these DVDs are priced at $7.99 and they come with a free $5 credit to Video on Demand (one per account.)

If you are interested in the Bob Harper DVDs- there is also a $5 off Target Coupon when you buy 3 Quaker items.  Here is one deal idea:

Buy 3 Quaker Instant Oats at $1.97
Buy Bob Harper DVD for $10

Use $5/1 Target coupon
and Use (3) $1/1 Quaker coupons from 1/2 RP
Final Price: $7.91 for all 3

Plus the value of the rebate $6.13 or more- so essentially $1.61 for all that!

See this week’s Target deals here.

i saw your original post on the Jillian Michael’s DVDs on amazon last week and was tempted to buy it when i saw one of the reviews about it says that she cusses during the workout, which completely turned me off. i was just wondering if you or anyone else has used the DVDs and if, in fact, this is the case. it’s a great deal, but i don’t want bad language in my home. TIA

Can you do more than one? I know the rebate is probably one per household but if you bought more than one video that had this offer could you get a rebate and then mag subscription with the others?

I bought one today and mine just has a postcard inside to send in for the magazine. But it doesn’t say anything about a refund rebate. Do you know how to do that? Thanks.

Yes Chantel, I just filled it out last night. Read the postcard and you will get the full details.

Mine must not have a refund offer. It is for the Shape magazine and I have read all the fine print. It is just says to allow 6-8 weeks, reproductions aren’t accepted and thats about it. Stinks. Because now I opened it and can’t return it 🙁

Chantel, this is what my postcard says in a large box on the left side: “If you do not wish to receive a one year subscription to Fitness valued at $6.13 as part of your qualifying purchase, please fill out this card and write refund.”

So your card does not have a box on the left side that says that? Well you can look at your package and see if you find a sticker on the front. I pictured it in the post. The sticker should say in fine print at the bottom that there is a rebate offer. The one that I showed in the post and the one I bought said in very small print “or receive a rebate of $6.13.” If your DVD says that on the front and the postcard does not have any options on it for a refund you should be able to return it and explain the advertising was false. Or ask to exchange it for a different one.
