If you happen to have a Walgreens ad on hand, reader Maluloves had a very clever idea.
She suggested taking that Walgreens ad to Target and asking for a price match. There is a great deal running at Target this week:
Tostitos $2.50
Buy 2 bags and get a free salsa
Use (2) $.55/1 Tostitos from 1/30 SS
Final Price: $3.90 for all 3!
But Walgreens has Tostitos priced at $1.97 so if you can get the price match, it brings the price down to $2.84 for all three items! Personally, I think $5 is a good price so that is really good!
Now I would think this would really be pushing it but there is also a $1 off salsa Target coupon when you buy 2 Tostitos chips. So I guess you could try that as well but since the salsa is free many stores might refuse the coupon.
*This is sort of a grey area with the Target price match policy so there is a chance they won’t allow it. I have a feeling many stores will.
if you are in the Sacramento area, there are coupons taped onto the Tostitos bags at Target for a free dip. So you can buy 2 Tostitos bags, get your free salsa and also the free large Queso Dip (or other flavor dip) with that coupon.
You just pay for the two bags of chips and there was a 55 cent off Tostitos coupon in yesterdays Sac Bee.
They took the $1 TQ off for me yesterday-no problem. Too bad I didn’t think about the price matching!
