You can see Safeway’s coupon policy right here. Most stores will allow you to stack a manufacturer coupon with the store coupons that can be found in the weekly circulars. You will want to be sure to get a club card for Safeway to take advantage of the sale prices! Safeway sale prices tend to vary from region to region so you will always want to double check your local ad! Also, I do not have double coupons in my area so your prices are likely much better than mine!

    When I used the Free Pasta-Roni when you buy 3 Rice-A-Roni, it automatically deducted $2. So you may get all 4 for $2!

    Wouldn’t the safeway deal on smartones work out to $16 for 10 entrees, or $1.60 each? It’s $4 off 10 smartones, not $4 off a $10 purchase.

    Will Safeway take the Minute Maid Buy One Get One Free coupon? since they supposedly do not take any coupons that give you something for free…

    Judith it depends. The policy is no free item coupons not no BOGO coupons. I did use the BOGO Special K coupons at 3 stores with no problems just a week or so ago. I think BOGO seem to be OK at most stores but it will be up to the store to determine how strict they want to be.

    I laughed when I saw the Lean Cuisine and Ice Cream deal. I wonder who comes up with this stuff.
    I tried to use the buy a gallon of milk and get a personal size free coupon, and they wouldn’t take it at my store. I think I might start shopping at a different Safeway. I have never seen the manager at my store smile.

    Bluberries were $3.99/1 at my store this morning, so $1.33 each for me.
    My store also allowed me to use the Pepsi coupon.

    I think I’ll stock up on frozen veggies:-) I have a catalina that is $5 off $15 of frozen foods. I don’t really like frozen fish fillets or the Safeway frozen pizzas.

    Last night when I opened the mail I received a postcard with several free items like a 10 ct mission tortilla, safeway select salsa and a SS bag of rice $4 off a SS bag of chicken but the real prize was a $10 off of $50 or more coupon!! Anyone know if I can use all coupons at once?

    You can use all the coupons at once, but I’m pretty sure the $10 off of $50 is after all coupons and such. I’ve gotten burned a few times on that one! And also, pay close attention because sometime the postcard coupons don’t come off correctly, they ring up at one cent.

    Don’t forget the great Hallmark deal that Charlene had posted about previously which runs through 2/14 I think. I got 3 $1.99 cards and got a $5 catalina back as well as a free teddy bear (cute and decent sized). $1 for 3 cards and a teddy bear isn’t bad!

    Can someone tell me what this Golden Grains pasta is? Is that the brand name? I don’t see any coupons for that in my smartsource. Thanks!

    Julie- it is a regional product and yes that is the name of it. You might check your ad for another brand featured at $1 this week and see if it is different for you.

    Carl I don’t usually hand check each coupon to my inserts and magazines. I would never sleep again 🙂 That is from the database so it might be wrong- I don’t enter all those coupons in myself. Just check the index of coupons in your All You and you should find the page number for each coupon.

    Does anyone know how many pounds are usually in a Foster Farms Value Pack ($.97/lb)? There’s a $1/1 coupon from one of the inserts recently that could make that a pretty good deal…

    Emily- the coupon I found for Foster Farms was boneless chicken and the one on sale is not boneless. Did you find another coupon?

    Ooops! I saw “chicken breast” in the ad and didn’t even consider it might have bones. I’ve never bought chicken breast *with* bones…

    I just went and got my scrubbing bubbles from Safeway. Some of the Scrubbing bubbles items have a bright orange peel away coupon on them for $2.00 off any two scrubbing bubbles items. I paid .99 for each scrubbing bubbles 🙂

    I went to Safeway to stock up on Kleenex, and went ahead and grabbed the fish and veggies while I was there. I got both for .99. I pointed out to the cashier, that limit on the “free” coupon was $2.00, but she said “it rang up at $3.00, so it’s fine.” Fine by me!

    There is a coupon on the AllYou.com website for free Birds Eye Steamfresh when you buy any 1 Mrs. Paul’s or Van De Kamp’s Item (up to $2.00 value). I was able to print two just a few moments ago.

    My safeway (Lincoln) will allow coupons on free items in self-checkout. She told me to put through all coupons before entering your phone # for club card. It works..Nice.

    Oooh, thanks Shelly, that is good to know. I also shop at the Lincoln Safeway and they can be a little stinky sometimes.
