If you are lucky and have a Safeway that does the “all coupons worth $1” that makes these even better deals. I printed out my coupons for the fruit snacks yesterday and if I am correct, I will actually be making .05 out of the deal (before taxes).

Actually, it is a better deal since the $0.50 cpn doubles. You pay $2.95 out of pocket and get $3 back right?
No cdao- I don’t pay $2.95 since coupons here don’t double. You pay $2.95 at your store and I pay $6.35. Stinks.
Cdao- it should be fine to roll them. Walgreens is the only store with that weird rolling thing. You can continue to buy as long as you have coupons.
Angela- yes you can buy 6 but I don’t think it works out as well. If you buy 5 or more you get $3 only. If you Buy 6 and use (3) .50/2 coupons that is $1.50 in coupons and if you do the scenario I posted it is $1.50 in coupons on 5 boxes. So I think it works out a little better. But if you have doubles maybe the math is better with the .50/2- is that what you are asking?
What zip code do you find athenos yogurt 1.00/2 ?

The Johnsonville breakfast sausage and smoked sausage is a pretty good deal as well. $1.99 with in ad coupon plus the $.55 mfg coupon would make this less than $1.50.

I was soo excited to see this post this morning and even more excited when I got the Safeway ad in the newspaper and it confirmed that we are having the same deals in Colorado. The Safeway here doubles coupons, so that made the deals even better. I’m sorry you don’t get to take advantage of double coupons. I don’t know if it’s any solace, but at least you have a CVS and we don’t!

I did the fruit roll up and the nature valley twice. Only the fruit roll up rolled, but not the nature valley one.

Emelyn, the ad says “Buy 4 or More” so you must buy 4 and if you want more than that they are all .99 but remember the cat caps out at 5 boxes.

I bought 5 of the fruit snacks and ended up paying $3.45. Did I do it correctly or was a $3 catalina suppose to come out? Sorry if this is a dumb question, I’m kind of new at this.
Lindsey you should have paid $3.45 and you should have received a coupon back for $3 off your next purchase. If you did not get your coupon, you can just call catalina marketing and ask them to mail it to you. Here is the information:

I did this deal last week for the fruit rollups/snacks… I didn’t have any idea about the cataline ahead of time. I thought I was going to be paying .50 per box (after doubling coupons). I had 22 boxes in my cart, because I was able to to get 11 coupons. (.50 off 2… but these doubled up to $1). And since at my Safeway, I’ve been told that only 3 alike coupons will double in any one transaction, I always split my stuff into different transactions… (thank goodness, because otherwise I would have been screwed on the catalinas!) So as I’m working my way through checkout, I keep getting these catalinas… I’m like Wow! Wow! Wow! Thinking “dang, I’m doing something right!” (haha) In all, I ended up getting all 22 boxes for free. I didn’t make any $ on them, just straight across free. Now my 3 boys are like so jazzed because they hardly ever get these things and I’m using them as treats for getting their chores done. So cool! It would have been nice to know ahead of time to expect this… maybe I ought to bookmark this website! 🙂 Thanks!
