Rite Aid: Free Finish and .49 Jif PB

This post may contain affiliate links, please see my disclosure policy.

Here are two more Rite Aid deals for the week.

I mentioned that Jif Peanut Butter is priced at $1.99 and there is a $1 +Up that is printing. ย Reader Sheila reminded me of the $1/2 ad perk coupon that is available.

So your deal looks like this:

Buy 2 Jif at $1.99
Use $1/2 ad perk coupon
Pay $2.98 and get $2 in +Up back- so the net price is .49 each!

You can also find free Finish Quantumatic right now:

These are priced at $3.99
Use the $3/1 printable coupon or printable coupon
and use the $1/1 ad perk coupon
Final Price: Free!

*Now don’t be tricked by this deal because some stores may not have them priced correctly at $3.99. So you might ask for a price check. Also, the last time I posted a deal on these at Target there was some confusion because there are a few different sizes. So be sure you look for the smallest one- I think it might be 16 ct or 20ct.

(Thanks Savvy Spending Meghan!)

I bought two smuckers and two Jifs today – used the $1/2 adperk coupon, but only got (2) $1 +Ups back… so I was wondering if anyone can confirm if they got the +Ups back from the peanut butter or the smuckers.

How many items could you buy and still get the +UP to print? I only bought 1 Lays this morning because I thought I would only receive 1 +UP. Thanks

Isn’t Jif also part of the spend $15 get $5 +up food?

Has anyone had any issues printing out the ad perk coupons? I have a black printer cartridge and my coupons are coming out hazy and missing some info (i.e. product photo & exp. date). Just wondering if Rite Aid will still accept them.

Why yes Cali it is ๐Ÿ™‚

Michele- I can’t tell you an exact number but from what I understand it is basically more of an issue with inventory in your store. I read this morning a lady bought 58 cans and yesterday another blogger said someone bought 200 cans. So the majority of the time you will basically get unlimited +Ups which is why RA is turning into a bit of a free for all ๐Ÿ˜‰

Sarah I know for sure it is working on Jif but I haven’t had any confirmation on Smuckers.

Nevermind about my issue, when I changed the properties to gray scale, it worked okay. ๐Ÿ™‚

    @ Rachel R.
It sounds like what was happening to me once. Try changing your printer properties. You should be able to do this right before it prints. Make sure it is set to “Black ink only”. If it is printing on “High Quality Gray-scale”, some stuff will be missing.

Safeway shoppers can get free Dixie plates. The Dixie plates are $3.99 Bogo. There is a $3/2 Video Values, plus there is a $1 off coupon is the Joys of Football book. The coupon is for Brawny and Dixie. It says it is for a dixie family pack, but I already had the coupon with me when I discovered riteaid did not have the family packs. I decided to try it anyway, and it worked for me with no beeps!

The Finish was indeed 3.99 at my store (yes, I did run right out for that…and bread, milk and TP…big storm again tomorrow! LOL!) But just like you said, Charlene – it was NOT marked. (which is probably why I was able to get 6! ๐Ÿ™‚ YAY! Best part, it was free, AND it counted toward my Winter Rewards! Thanks so much!! ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks, Sarah T! Good tip on the Dixie plates too.

The Finish deal worked perfectly for me except I had to buy something else since my subtotal was negative (even though my total was positive). These were marked at my store as $3.99.

ok so i made a boo boo and only got $14.95 worth of food products so i didnt get the $5 UP reward…do you think there is any way they would let me get it still if i went back and got one more thing? or should i call a manager or something?

    01/31/2011 at 10:53 PM

Okay, I’m confused, I thought you could only use the same Video Values coupon once? I have experienced beeps before when trying to use it again… did I miss something? How can you get multiple free items using VV coups?

  18. Charlene says

    01/31/2011 at 11:14 PM

Whitney, The corporate person at Rite Aid that I have spoken to has said Video Values can be used one time per person only. I don’t post it any other way on MFA. Sorry ๐Ÿ™

Okay, I was just checking. I thought I missed some phenomenal change in policy or something ๐Ÿ˜‰

I’m not certain if I am more aghast that someone bought 200 packs of chips, or impressed that some RA thought ahead enough to order that many ahead of time…..

Ok – maybe someone posted on this before, but I missed it. A cashier inadvertently scanned one too many of my Ups on a transaction last week & handed it back to me because the computer wouldn’t take it. Now, I can’t use the Up because it was technically ‘already used’. It is only for $1 (thank goodness it wasn’t the $20 one!). Has anyone ever had that happen?

What is the title of the Jif Video Value? I checked the queue several times & can’t find anything called that.
I don’t print all at once.
I also “print” as a pdf in case I have printer jam or I can’t find the item when I want it. If it comes back on sale a month later, I can print another if I lost the 1st copy.
Can only *use* is once, of course.

  23. Charlene says

    02/01/2011 at 8:04 AM

    Jif is listed under Jif.

cjs- this has happened to me before. I wrote Rite-Aid and the store manager from the store I went to ended up calling me and told me that they would issue it for me. So try that!

Katie- you might bookmark my monthly ad perk coupons post. Now that they have them by category I personally find it to be a pain. But the monthly ad perk post will tell you which category each coupon is under:
