I found Christmas items on clearance 90% off at both CVS and Rite Aid today. My Rite Aid was basically wiped out but CVS had a massive amount of stuff.
I got all this at CVS for $3.81. The tissue paper was .19 and the wrapping paper was .49 (one of those is heavy duty Hallmark paper!)
I tape rolls of wrapping paper to picnic tables in the summer for the kiddos to color on. If you are artistic you can use it for kids parties as well and color Happy Birthday or color each child’s name as a place holder at the table etc…
My CVS also had Hallmart ornaments on clearance- I got a Charlie Brown one for .49.

my cvs told me they didnt mark there’s down to 90% because of the economy???? then another cashier said they donated it!?
Just had to comment, that is an awesome idea with the wrapping paper on the tables for kids to color on. I think I’ll do this idea for my son’s 2nd birthday next month!
You are so smart about other ways to use that wrapping paper!
CVS told me the same thing. Then when I went first thing this morning, people were stocking up on items, only to have the cashier tell them it was full price for Christmas things again.
Then I saw the manager loading up carts and taking things to the stock room. I was so confused. You think they would want to sell it.
Our ToysRUs has also marked down Christmas wrapping supplies and Christmas candy 90% off. I bought candy for 12 cents, a gingerbread house for 85 cents and bows for 24 cents. (Didn’t need wrapping paper but a pack of 6 rolls was 79 cents.)
Yesterday I went to cvs for the drink deal and it was 75% off and then went to eat and drove by and the sign was flashing 90% off but my bf did not want to stop and I didn’t want to hear him whine. But I got wrapping paper, ribbon, tissue paper, and lots of bags today at a closer one for 90% off.
I went to cvs this morning hoping for 90% off… but was told that they wouldn’t be going lower than 75% off this year. I was told by a shift manager that they would trash whatever they don’t sell in the next few days. makes me soo mad!!
at walgreens we repack whatevers resaleable and donate whatever is open or shelf damage
I went to CVS on Saturday and saw the 90% off in a middle section along the side. Then on an encap in that same area were Christmas oval Kleenex brand boxes. There were marked $3.19 on the shelf, and I scanned it, it came up 3.19. I saw John Frieda Weather Works for 75% off, and it made it 1.62 a bottle. I did not have my coupons on me. I ran in there Monday night to see if the Kleenexes were 90% off, and to see if there was any John Frieda left. The Kleenexes were still 3.19 a box. I asked one of the employees if they were 90%, and he said they should be since they were Christmas. He said he would price modify it to 90%. I was only going to buy 6. He said you can buy them all if you want. I did some quick math, and I decided to buy all 19 at 0.32 each. I used two Kleenex 0.50 off 3, and a John Frieda $3/2. I got 19 boxes and the two John Frieda for 5.97 with tax.
I could not believe it.
