There is a hidden deal available this week at CVS Stores. You can get $7 off Physician’s Formula cosmetics! Is that a huge discount or what? I am not aware of any coupons available right now but in the past, this line has offered peelie coupons and try me free rebates on the products.
I heard from reader Lynn that she got a $3 off coupon from the coupon scanner. Reader Amanda said she got a $10 off coupon for the blush or foundation.
Has anyone else found a great deal with these products? Amanda was curious how the $10 off coupon worked- so if anyone else got that please let us know. Were you able to get a few products with the coupon or did they adjust it down?
If you decide to head out to CVS be sure to either look for the signs indicating the sale or take your items to the scanner and see what happens!
Thanks Passion for Savings!
I decided to call it a week after my marathon shopping trip this weekend… but then again CVS is right across the street from the gym tonight so maybe I will check it out…
I got the $10 off coupon at the scanner. I got one of the foundations. Originally priced around $13, then the $7 off promo, and they did take the entire $10 off for the coupon – so a $4 moneymaker!!
Ironically, in the same transaction, I bought some L’oreal eyeshadow – marked down 75%. And I had some coupons that should have made them moneymakers but the system wouldn’t take off the amounts because they exceeded what I paid. That became a big headache. Not sure why the discrepancy in seemingly similar circumstance.
I got the $10 off as well this morning and I got a few things since a lot of the other make-up was marked down 75% off. I bought a powder foundation (Physician’s formula) reg. 10.99 $7 off posting and 75% off sticker on box. I also bought a few Revlon eyeshadows which were also marked 75% off. The cashier scanned the coupon and it took off $10 off my total purchase.
I thought I already posted as well some rebates listed on Physicians Formula website for some of these products.
Shelly the rebates typically require the actual peelies to submit. You can find the rebate form but they refuse it without the pink Try me Free stickers. If you find some that are different though please let us know!
I went this morning and tried my EC card at the scanner and got 2 candy coupons!?!
Momto3- the chances of getting this coupon are small. I never get good ones either. First you want to be sure you keep scanning until it says no more and second it is luck of the draw what you get.
Just wanted you to know I got a $10.00 off coupon from the scan and purchased 4 compact powders that were 75% off making them 2.50 each, with the coupon they came out to free.
I got the two candy coupons too 🙁
Thanks for the tip on keeping scanning until it says no more….never knew that!
I got one of the $10 coupons on one card, but not the other. The card I got it on I had registered for their beauty thing they have going on. Maybe that could determine who gets the coupon? The other card I scanned I had not registered it yet and did not get the coupon. Although I was able to buy a bunch of stuff with the coupon, plus the clearance and the $4.00 peelies I had 🙂
the 75% off stickers were on the items in my store BUT like always the cashier ARGUED with me that I “was getting a good enough deal” …
long story short she does this every time I go in and I almost ended up in tears just because I was frustrated and realized I was wrong everytime I say “maybe she is just having a bad day…”
:/ but they do have physician formula twin concealer sticks unmarked for .79 cents. and they have jewelry boxes on sale for $2 in christmas section. (They are wooden and have no xmas decoration whatsoever)
No coupons from the machine for me…but there were some $4 peelies on some 75% off product at my store…made them free (one was a mosaic type blush and the other was some powder).
Today I got:
Powder Palette Blush $3.99 (after $7 deduction)
Mineral Wear Duo Powder $3.75 (75% off clearance)
3-in-1 Concealer/Powder $2.69
-$10 CVS coupon
Total = $0.43 + tax!!!
I bought a bunch of things. Some PF were 75%, some were cheap because of the seven dollars off. The cashier then took the $10 coupon from the machine. I got 6 PF items, Sally H. Nail Polish and Loreal Mascara for 9.04!
So wait, the $7 off is just on any product? Like, if I get something that is $7.99, it will make it .99? Or can it be several small items and then $7 off?
Alicja it is $7 off per item. So I bought a foundation tonight that was $12.99. When I went to the scanner it was $5.99. It had a $4 off peelie coupon so I paid $1.99.
I was too cheap to buy anything else and I didn’t get the great coupon. But I scanned several items and each item was $7 off.
Whaaaaaaaaat?! Wow, watch out CVS, I’m comin to get you in the morning! I’ve been needing new makeup as I feel like I can’t keep spending 22.50 on my Clinique powder. Trying to find something cheaper to replace it.
I went up there last night and found the Physicians Formula eye definer (eye liner). It was regularly $6.50 and the $7.00 obviously didn’t apply to this. I couldn’t tell how much it would be but I took my chances at the register, and it came out to $1.60 ish? Awesome deal! I didn’t have any coupons, so I wasn’t willing to get to crazy with the make-up purchases, but I do plan to go back to check out the discount paired with a peelie- i didn’t notice the peelies for additional savings, but I didn’t look close enough. I’d love to try the mineral power! It sure would beat buying pure minerals at Ulta!!
Great deals- thanks for these MFA!!! =)
I got the $10 coupon, bought a $15 pressed powder, so it ended up being a $2 money-maker for me. I had no issues using the coupon, and getting the $7 off.
After reading Kristin’s comment, I agree, it might be those who have registered for their new beauty program, because I also recently registered for it, then a few days later got the $10 off coupon.
Oh I signed up for the program a week or more ago and I did not get the coupon. In fact I posted that program before anyone else knew about it so I must have been one of the first to register.
The 7.00 off doesn’t work with the 75%- only the regular priced ones.
Some of the products at Rite Aid (Roseville) had the peelies for the rebate, but my CVS did not.
I also registered for the program and when you do the 10% prints off for your next purchase at the bottom where to ECBs would be. I went to CVS today to get some covergirl mascara. It ranges in price, but I bought 6 at $8.99 reg price. I used 6 covergirl $1 off coupons from P&G Book and 10% and each were marked for $7 off and paid $5.12.
