In case you missed it over the weekend, the January issue of American Baby has 20% off Amazon coupons inside! These coupons can only be used on diapers and are single use. We have seen the coupons for the past few months in Parents and Parenting the Early Years magazines- so they are pretty hard to come by.
They make the diaper deals on Amazon pretty outstanding and shipping is free! (So on the Luvs deal I posted, if you have a coupon you would pay about $13 for a giant box of diapers.)
What makes this an awesome deal is that American Baby magazine is free! So I am hoping we continue to see these coupons in each issue and you can request your subscription here. (I would probably skip the other offers from them but I have ordered both Babytalk and American Baby and haven’t had any problems.)
Also, if anyone has any codes from these magazines that they don’t need- it would be wonderful if you left them in the comments below. I know a lot of people really appreciate them!

Ooh here is one too I had in my email from reader Eileen: YT9R-QVHL7S-8FLXAF. That expires 2/28 but I bet it is snatched up fast.
Thanks Eileen!

I used the first code from Lyndsey – it made the 156 count of Huggies $15.96. I have 2 wearing the same size (my 2yo and my 9mo), so THANK YOU!!!
Sarah says
I got the total to $17…do I need 2 coupons to get to $13?
Charlene says
Sarah- I didn’t test it so I can’t say exactly what people are doing. I heard from one person that said her total is $13 and another that said $15. They may have had two coupons and not mentioned that- I can’t say. I would go with it if you get that box down to $17. Thats like .09 a diaper or maybe less depending on the size. To use size 4 as an example that is .09 each and a jumbo pack of size 4 diapers has 31 diapers so= 31 x .094= $2.92. It is like you paid $2.92 for a jumbo pack- that is a heck of a deal!

I used one of the codes and got 156 size 3 for 15.32 WHAT A DEAL 🙂 made my day! Thanks for the coupon codes ladies!
jenny says
Can you use coupons on amazon for diapers? I tried yesterday but obviously did it wrong. Can someone explain how to use them?
Charlene says
Jenny the codes are single use only and you can use them! You just have to enter the code toward the end of checkout where it says promo code. Now the issue is that if you bought your copy of a magazine people are being sneaky and stealing the codes and leaving the magazines on the shelf so you waste your money 🙁 So that could be a problem but otherwise just buy the diapers like I posted and right before you click the final confirmation button- under your shopping cart you should see a box to enter the code.

If anyone else has any more codes I could use one please.

I signed up for Subscribe and Save, which gives you 30% off, and then applied the promo code to make it 15.96. I ordered Size 3, so I don’t know if there’s a price difference on Amazon between sizes. You can enroll in S&S and then cancel after your first shipment – this is what I did.

I am a new mommy and still trying to wrap my head around the cost of diapers:)…I’ve done the Amazon 20% off coupon + 15% subscibe and save + 15% amazon moms discount for my Pampers a couple times. My question to you mommies, is this probably the best price I am going to find for Pampers? Should I go ahead and stock up with the remaining 20% coupons I have? Charlene, I know you see a lot of deals, is this one of the better/best ones? Thank you mommies, so glad to be part of the club!
Charlene says
Ok I typed a long response and then I lost it. Here I go again. I would consider what you want. You can frequently get deals at the drugstores for $3 or less a pack. That will require a lot of planning and motivation on your part to get it all together and shop early etc.. etc.. The other thing with buying Jumbo packs is that you are just going to go through them so fast- it is a constant process to get your hands on more deals. If that is fun for you and you have the time- well I would skip Amazon. If the extent of your motivation as a new mom, is turning on the coffee pot, I would buy from Amazon. Just look at the diaper cost and I find it easier to compare Jumbo pack prices than box prices. So if you are paying $13 for 180 diapers that is .07 each. If a jumbo pack in your size has say 34 diapers in it- well you just paid $2.45 per pack. Does that make sense? That is what helps me wrap my head around these deals. Now at $2.45 I would pull the trigger and pat myself on the back for being fabulous.
One thing is that you really want to test the diapers for a week or so and make sure your baby’s bum gets along with the brand. We had a few unpleasant situations with Walgreens brand diapers that made me want to throw the car seat away. When Pampers came out with the new Dry Max Maya got such a horrific rash from them I was ready to file a lawsuit. So keep that in mind. Also keep in mind the sizes. Those babies have a tendency to eat and grow pretty darn fast. So I wouldn’t invest heavily in small sizes because people give you dirty looks when you tape newborn diapers on a 1 year old.
PS: The Huggies Little Movers are good diapers too as are the Pure and Natural and Overnights.
Hope that helps Leeanne 😉

That is really helpful Charlene…I think I will take advantage of Amazon right now. Thank you very much!
