I’m not sure the Mars coupon will work on the Reese’s 2/$1 deal. I believe Reese’s is part of Hershey’s not Mars. Just thought I would give you a heads up.

Renee, I wasn’t suggesting you use a Mars coupon on Reese’s. The ad shows a variety of Valentine’s Day candy priced at $.50. If you find some from Mars or M&Ms it will be free.

Your right, my bad. I read it as if you can find the coupon you can get them free. I read it too fast and got too excited about getting them for free! Thanks for responding.

Ok, my coupon math is BAADD! So I have four of the Vitamin Water BOGO coupons (didnt use them last time I printed the first 2) so how would that work out–Buy 8 for $12, 2 Honest Teas for $3–that puts me at $15, then use coupons? Would that work? TIA.

I noticed there might me some good deals on makeup this week too. There is a ECB deal on Almay where you get $4 when you spend $10. My 1/23 Smart Source (that I got early) had a $2 off any Almay cosmetic product. I have not checked prices or anything, but if I could find two products around $5 each, I could use 2 coupons and get then both for a $1 each.

thanks Sarah T… I love Almay mascara. it lasts a long time and doesn’t flake… so much better than cover girl or loreal imo….

Last week while I was in CVS, I got an extracare coupon for $2/1 any Huggies Supreme Diaper.
    $3.99 would be sweet!

I have a $0.75 crest toothpaste coupon from one of the P&G booklets, sorry I dont remember for what week but it expires 02/28/11 and it has the Pro-Health picture so if anyone else has it, it makes it a moneymaker this week!

  9. Sara says

I found a coup for 2$ off Crest pro health rinse in the January P&G so that make it a money maker!!

    01/23/2011 at 10:00 AM

Sara- was that for the correct size? I found coupons for mouthwash but they didn’t match the size in the ad.

Thanks Sarah T….I’ve been holding on to a $3.00/1 coupon from the coupon machine it expires tomorrow!

Hi, I just got back from my CVS and unfortunately, they would not let me use more than one Vitamin Water Buy one, get one free coupon. Kind of a bummer because I had four of them. The coupon says one per purchase and they took that to mean per order. I’m not sure if this is correct or not…

  13. Catherine says

    01/23/2011 at 3:45 PM

    darn, I didn’t get the Almay Q 🙁

but I did have a $10 off Crest Whitestrips and they are on RR this week so got the Whitestrips for $31.99 ( less $10 ECB & $10 P&G Q) and also the Crest Mouthwash 16.9 oz for $3.99 (get back $3.99 ECB)

and my receipt said there was one ECB left on both of the above so looks like u can get 2 whitestrips and 2 mouthwash ECB deals. Not sure if anyone else got these ?

  14. Charlene says

    01/23/2011 at 6:39 PM

No it isn’t correct Robin. One per purchase means one per item you purchase. One per transaction means you get to use one coupon in total for your entire transaction. You can call CVS to complain.

    Hi Charlene,
I called my CVS Mgr and asked if he could clarify the Store Policy and he said they should have honored the “one per purchase”. (I had multiple Vitamin Water coupons that they would not honor). Good to know!!! Thanks.

@Robin: I’ve had several problems like this in the past at CVS…best defense is to be prepared: I carry that coupon policy with me at all times in CVS, Rite Aid, etc. and it usually solves every issue within 30 seconds! 🙂 (typically they just see it when I pull it out and they override whatever the issue is.)

  17. Jenell says

    01/25/2011 at 4:32 PM

Did anyone have a problem with the Crest Pro Health ECB printing? I bought the toothpaste and it rang up 3.99 but no ECB printed at the bottom of my receipt. It wasn’t marked on the shelf tag either. Did I miss something?

  18. Charlene says

    01/25/2011 at 4:41 PM

Well shoot Jenell. It was the rinse that was on sale so you bought the wrong thing 🙁 My post wasn’t clear that it was the rinse.

  19. Jenell says

    01/25/2011 at 7:20 PM

Ok thanks for the clarification. I checked the ad and somehow I totally missed that! Today was just one of “those” days. I’ll just go return it and get the rinse and my ECBs! 🙂

Yesterday, I went to CVS and they said they had a new policy come down from coperate that they are no longer accepting printed coupons due to coupon fraud. I had a long discussion with them and explain to them that you can tell that my coupons are legit because they have separate bar code numbers. Charlene, do you know anything about this new policy?

  21. Charlene says

    01/26/2011 at 10:01 PM

Well I heard from one person something about this but no I don’t really know what is up. I don’t want to bore everyone with my big soap box rant but I will say that we are going through a weird time with coupons. I believe we will see lots of headaches for the short term and then I am hoping it all blows over and things go back to normal.

I just ran into CVS today and noticed a few things…

-the Reese’s B1G1 coupon says it is for the 1.5 oz, but the Reese’s hearts are only 1.2 oz. Has anyone tried this?

    – All the Christmas stuff is marked down to .25!!! They had a TON of stuff…tree stands, stockings, cards, and wrapping paper (including character paper that didn’t look Christmasy). I realize every store is different, but I think this is worth keeping an eye out for.

    – The CVS brand diapers were all marked down, most are still only 25% but some of the sizes are already down to 50%. Looks like the big diaper clearance is coming!

  23. Charlene says

    01/27/2011 at 2:08 PM

Oh poop Sarah 🙁 If the size is wrong you can’t use the coupon.
