Since many of you are probably getting your Babytalk and American Baby magazines in the mail, I thought I’d run through a current list of prices for diapers from Amazon. I will just list the prices anyone can get- if you have the current issues of American Baby, Babytalk, Fit Pregnancy or Parenting the Early Years- be sure to thumb through and look for either $10 off or 20% off coupons. Those can be stacked with the prices below for an even better deal!
I am using one size as a sample- so the prices will fluctuate just a little bit depending on size.
~HUGGIES~
Snug n Dry box $31.91– select subscribe and save on the right hand side and the price drops to $22.34 for 156 diapers (size 3). That is like paying $5.15 for a Jumbo pack and shipping is free!
~PAMPERS~
Pampers Baby Dry $40.88– you should see a coupon for $1.50 off in the center of the screen. (if you don’t see it either log into your account or click here and keep refreshing until it pops up.) Then select subscribe and save on the right hand side and the price drops to $27.12 for 176 size 4 diapers. That is .15 per diaper or $4.77 for a Jumbo pack and shipping is free!
~LUVS~
Luvs Premium Stretch Diapers $34.54– select subscribe and save on the right hand side and the price drops to $24.18 for 204 size 3 diapers. That is .11 per diaper or like paying $4.26 for a Jumbo pack and shipping is free!
~EARTH’S BEST~
Earth’s Best Chlorine Free $36.13– select subscribe and save on the right hand side and the price drops to $25.29 for 140 size 3 diapers or .18 each! That is like paying $6.32 for a Jumbo pack and shipping is free!
You will need to be a member of Amazon Mom to get these prices- it is totally free to register for a free trial offer.
Here is what it looks like with the 20% off codes from the magazines. I ordered a case of Pampers for $40.88:
So my total is $18.94 for 156 size 5 diapers or .12 each- so that is like paying $3.27 per pack and they are shipped right to my door!
*Once your order arrives you can keep the subscription but your price might vary for the next delivery. Or you can simply go back into my account on Amazon and just cancel this option. You have no further obligations!
Caralee says
Are you able to use the Pampers $1.50 coupon more than once per account?
Charlene says
Caralee- sometimes they will offer more than one coupon and sometimes they reset the coupons. So you can see if you find a coupon.
Katie says
Caralee, I’ve gotten that coupon offer and used it twice, no problem.
Has anyone gotten and used two $10.00 coupons on the same account? I already used a $10.00 coupon, and I’m wondering if it’ll allow me to use the second one I’ve gotten on the same account?
Megan says
Thanks for the awesome break down! I feel like really great in-store diaper deals have been few and far between lately so these amazon deals are much appreciated! 🙂
Krystal says
Thanks for this!! I was also able to use the $10 off baby item coupon, too, and bought the exact same pack of size 5’s as you for $8.94. How awesome!
karen says
anyone w/a code they r not using?!?!?!
thanx,
karen
Charlene says
Here are two codes that reader Amy passed along:
YTN7-UQ585H-M3QCY9
YTU9-E2MCSY-XRLLQQ
These will only work one time!
Steffani says
Thank you so much for passing on those codes. I was able to use one and needed it 🙂
shelly says
Finally placed my first amazon order and what a hassle. I purchased 2 boxes sz 5 huggies diapers and a 3pk of 216 wipes. The codes in the magazines were saying they were invalid. So chatted with customer service and although they didnt expire till 1/31 and 2/28 for them it was saying the same thing. For my troubles they gave me a $20 credit. I also had purchased the $20 gc for $10 the other day and I needed some assistance with my order so I brought up another chat and they gave me an additional discount. Don’t know the total off they gave, but I ended up paying $5.76 oop for everything.
Charlene says
Shelly it is supposed to be one per person. So if you had 3 codes and 3 items you would need to place 3 orders total. It sounds like they really took care of you.
Sarah Nagel says
Any other codes no one is using as I could really use a better deal? We are having a hard time right now as is most of America and my son just doesn’t seem to want to learn how to be potty trained.
Sarah Nagel says
And what magazine are these codes in?
Jessica Harvey says
If you leave the subscribe and save…does that mean that your total will be the same every order. For instance, if you used a 20% off coupon — would every order include that 20% discount?
Katie says
If you don’t have a 20% off code, run out to Babies R Us and at the registry counter, they have Baby Talk and American Baby magazines that you can take for free. I was just there on Monday and I checked and the magazines had the coupons in them!
Andrea H says
Thanks,I got the prime discount, the $10 off coupon and I also used my amazon gift card from living social and paid nothing for my order and still have 7.oo left on my gift card.
Melissa says
Thanks for the great deal. I was able to buy a pack of 50 underjams for $4.56 and I used a swagbucks amazon gc to pay for it so I paid $0 oop. Fantastic deal!
angie says
what are peoples thoughts on Luvs diapers, i usually stick with huggies or pampers but im looking at the luvs size 3 since its a bit cheaper? thanks!
Charlene says
Thanks Kadie, I have mentioned the BRU tip repeatedly but I am sure some people may have missed it.
@ Jessica- no your price is not locked in. You can leave it and they will email you prior to the next shipment and you can see what the price will be. The 20% off coupon code is one time only.
@Sarah- the magazines are listed at the top of the post. As Kadie said you can go to registry desk at Babies R Us and see if you spot free copies. You can also click the links and request free subscriptions to the magazines.
@Angie- I got them last time and I will probably do pampers this time. The issue is really at night and I find Maya wakes up just a little damp. During the day they are fine but the outside of the diapers are a little thin so she isn’t really wet just a little damp :).
Christina says
I agree with Charlene regarding Luvs. They work great during the day (and smell nice too). But I don’t usually use them at night because they often soak through.
Janey says
Both codes have been used. I was going to order a box of size 5’s since we’re teetering on the edge of having to go up a size (starting to notice leaks at night) and was hoping to avoid having to go searching for one of these magazines. No biggie. We have a field trip with Girl Scouts today and BRU is on the way. 🙂
Michelle Buttitta says
I love the Amazon diaper deals. I thought I did good when my twins were babies. Woowee I’m doing great with #3!
@Angie – I used Luvs almost exclusively with my twins. I loved them. I’ve been using Pampers with #3 and I just bought Luvs to use again because I feel like the Pampers allow for more blow outs (the yucky kind!). Luvs will give you your money back if you are not satisified.
Kina says
I’m still in need of a code if anyone has an extra one. Hubby is using the car this week but I’m going to try to make it to BRU when he gets home to see if I can get a magazine or two. Thanks for everything Charlene!!!

I am expecting my first baby in April and trying to get a handle on Diaper prices. What do you consider a good “per diaper” price? I am thinking that .20 or under seems like a good deal from what I’m seeing people get excited about. Is that about right?
Also, you talk about the diapers in terms of “jumbo packs,” but how many diapers are in a typical Jumbo pack?
Thank you for your help with this. I have benefitted so much from your site already and I’m looking forward to being able to save on baby items.
Charlene says
Corinne- the quantities change according to size and brand. How I calculate it is by going to diapers.com and I look up the exact brand and I typically take a sample size. usually 3 or 4 is the most popular. Then I just multiply the price per diaper by the quantity that brand usually has to find the number.
I think .20 or less is a decent price but not really great- that would be $6 or so for 30 diapers. I think most people try to shoot for $5 or less per pack. I put it in terms of Jumbos because I think it is easier to understand.
The prices in the post are excellent prices- the Pampers especially. You can get diapers for $4-5 at the drugstores fairly regularly but you are limited to how many coupons you have and you also have the extra work of rolling Register Rewards or ECBs or whatever and they tend to have limits on how many you get. If you are getting the codes in the magazines especially I would without question be buying at these prices before your codes expire. Just be careful you don’t buy too many small ones. 🙂
Danielle says
Charlene,
Thanks again for more diaper deals! These are awesome prices. I had a $10.00 off amazon coupon and a 20% off one. I order a pack of pampers and a pack of luvs and only paid $34.39 for 408 size 3 diapers! I am really happy with that price 🙂
Caralee says
Even doing my best at Rite Aid (watching videos, clipping coupons, begging people for their coupons and rolling rewards) getting Huggies at $4 a pack does not compare to these prices.. I ordered Pampers (which works best for overnight protection on our little one). Huggies puts out lots high value coupons, however Pampers is pretty stingy.. I say take advantage while you can!! (I am waiting on box #2,3 and 4 to arrive any day now)
Kina says
Just came back to say that I got two magazines with codes from BRU! Thanks again! I’ll be ordering this week!!!
Nicole says
Having twins I have done a lot of digging around trying to find the best deals including Wags, Target, Sam’s, Amazon. I was so surprised that the Amazon deal is really the best deal out there, given you are using a code and taking advantage of the Amazon Mom’s promo. We go through a lot of diapers so to get a good deal AND have them delivered to my door step is heaven! I usualy order under the subscribe and save option and then cancel it later when I have a new coupon code to use for my next oder. Is that cheating? Anyway thanks Charlene for continuing to post the Amazon deals!
Charlene says
Nicole you sound like an ad for Amazon 🙂 I agree with you wholeheartedly. The thing with the drugstores is that it is just so much time. I think the prices from Amazon can’t be beat- usually they are there before you can cut your coupons and go to the store anyway. Plus the Amazon Mom thing with free shipping on your other purchases just adds a lot of extra incentive to me.

just got a great deal: i had a 20% cpn (expired tonite) and a $10off cpn (expires at end of feb). well, i was going to get 2 separate boxes and use up the 20% one first, but i entered the $10 one first by accident. long story short, i was able to enter 2 cpn codes for the 1 box!!! it came out to less than $8 for a box luvs sz 4:))))
btw, i love luvs…never had a prob w/them @ nite or daytime.
Jen T says
I’m trying to order diapers today and use my 20% off cpn code that expires 2/28/11, but it says the offer has expired. Anyone else have this problem?
karen says
yikes! i guess i got lucky. i ordered mine last nite (jan31) before midnite cuz my cpn was exp then.
Jen T says
I hope the expiration date wasn’t printed wrong – I would have totally ordered last night had it said 1/31. It’s too bad we need diapers now. I’m usually well stocked up, but I’ve been working a lot so deal-seeking and stockups have been on the backburner =P
Charlene says
Jen- can you do a chat with them? Or does your husband have an Amazon account you can use instead? They will usually accommodate you on a live chat or a phone call.
Lyndsey says
Jen- I have been having issues with my codes as well! I just send a request for them to call me. Whenever I do a chat there seems to be a communication gap, and nothing gets resolved. So whenever I have spoke to someone in person, the issue is resolved within a few minutes, it is much easier than web chatting!
Jen T says
Thanks for the ideas! I’d hate to lose a code that’s not even expired =)
