$2 off Bic Triumph Pens Printable

Reader Mariah found a printable coupon for $2 off Bic Triumph pens!

For some embarrassing reason I get very excited about nice pens.  The 2 packs of Triumph pens are listed in the Walgreens ad starting tomorrow at $1.99.

You can take that ad to Walmart or Target and ask for a price match to get them free!  You can obviously buy them at Walgreens too but in my experience Walgreens is a massive pain about adjusting a coupon down (even by a penny) so that might be a headache.

It is very clearly listed in the Walgreens coupon policy that they should adjust the coupon to give you the item free, but whether they will do it is another matter.

I did check Target tonight and my store has the 2pks available (at $4.99-yikes!)

If you don’t need these pens you might grab them anyway for your child’s teacher! I think I am going to set aside a pack for Operation Christmas Child boxes next year too. An older child might really like having shiny new pens.

Thanks Mariah!

NOTE:  There is a great big ink hog ad that prints after the coupon and mine expires 2/7.

Yes I printed last night. If it says you have already printed the coupon might be out of prints for everyone.

Has anyone been able to get this to print? It says that I have already printed but I don’t remember printing.

It said I already printed it but I didn’t. 🙁

Same here — I tried printing today from two different computers and got the same error message. I think Charlene is right. Bummer. I get excited about nice pens too.

I was able to print mine but when attempted to use them at the store, the second one “beeped”. I know it was because the pens were on sale for $1.99 and the first coupon scanned $2.00. After finally getting the manager to understand that he needed to adjust the coupons down, I was able to leave with my FREE pens!!!! 🙂
I just wish that cashiers (and managers) were better trained on coupon usage and policies…

Karen- it is interesting because it doesn’t matter how much the items are for the register looks at the total when applying coupons. For example, if you bought 2 pens for $2 each = $4 total in pens. If you had a $4/1 coupon, you would get both free. So in your case, the register read it as $3.98 in pens and you had a $2 coupon which is fine. That second coupon beeped because you only had $1.98 left in items to apply a $2 coupon toward. Does that make sense? Sometimes what I have done in a situation like yours, is when they give me guff about the coupon beeping I have them take the second item off the transaction. It sort of tricks the register into taking at least one coupon and I can avoid a huge hassle. 🙂

That one didn’t last long and I didn’t get it in my paper which stinks. I printed last night to test it and when I went to print from another computer today it was out of prints. I’d check back though because they may reset the coupon.

I just tried to print these and it worked. I don’t know if it is working again or I got lucky.

Stink it won’t print for me! Well I had no problems at all price matching at Target- they were $10.80 for 2 packs and after price match and coupon I paid zero!
