Toys R Us is having a last minute sale today and they have Wii Consoles for $149.99 in black or white only.
This offer is valid 12/23-12/24 only in stores. There is a limit of 1 per person and it says with coupon but I don’t see a coupon. You might print the flyer out just in case.
Toys R Us is actually open 24 hours a day right now so you can head in at your convenience. It might be worth a call to confirm inventory just in case.
If you aren’t up to facing the stores, there is a chance that Amazon will match this sale.
I have been watching all morning and nothing yet- but as of posting they have the black available for $194.99 and the white for $199.
If you have Prime you have about 1 hour left and you can still get overnight delivery for just $3.99.
I think the one at Toys R Us is just the console. It looks like the ones from Amazon have the Sports Resort bundle- so you might take that into account before your make your decision.
Charlene, I just called Toysrus to check on this, apparently the black one comes with Wii Sports and Resort Sports, and the white one just comes with Wii Sports… Called Amazon as well, and they told me they could not price match 🙁
Thanks Carrie- the picture shows just the console so hopefully all the stores are the same. Amazon won’t price match 🙂 What they do is they wait for a store to offer a sale and then the item will pop up at the same price online. You can’t make them do it you just have to sit with your fingers crossed 🙂
Sorry Carrie that wasn’t very clear in the post. I forget not everyone spends as many hours watching these deals as I do and understands how it all works.
I went and got a black one at Toys-R-Us this morning and it included Wii sports and Wii sports resort. When I was at my store around 10am, they still had about 35 in stock. The nice sales lady said that the sale has not been publicized a lot.
(However, before I went I called and was told they only had one in each color- I think this was just an attempt to get me to come get it right then).
As for the coupon, the cashiers have them at the registrar.
