Walmart is offering same day pickup through tomorrow (12/23) on online orders at over 800 stores nationwide.
You just place your online order and then wait for an email or text alert telling you it is ready to pick up.
I think this is great for last minute shoppers because you can be certain they have the item you need. Hopefully picking things up at customer service is a little easier than wandering through the stores!

Argh! It’s not available in my area. I am loving this idea though. I ordered something online that I had seen in the store earlier that day and it took 10 days for it to arrive site to store. It really seemed silly for them to ship it when they already had it on hand. Hopefully they will work out the kinks and then this will solve all my Walmart woes!
