Starbucks Deal of the Day: BOGO Coffee

I got a text from Starbucks this morning with the 2nd deal in the 12 Days of Christmas promotion.

Today they are offering Buy One Pound Christmas Blend Coffee, Get One Free.  These are priced at $12.99 online so a whopping $6.50 each even after the discount.

This promotion should be available at all stores but it doesn’t hurt to call ahead.  My text says “participating locations only” so you never know.

I tried to get set up on this text deal several days ago, and when I sent my text got a return message “service access denied”. Just tried again and got the same message. Anyone else having this issue?

Hi Rebecca, I didn’t have any problems signing up.

After yesterday’s Cost Plus deal, bags of coffee is the last thing I need (especially at $6.50/bag)…LOL! Where’s my FREE or BOGO drink?!?!?!?!? That’s what I’m waiting for!

So you need to have the text on your phone to get the deal? I just tried signing up and I got a message that I am signed up, but no clue if I will get today’s deal text.

Deborah- it looks like you don’t need the text. I drove past Starbucks today and they had signs up and it said while supplies last.

Sweet! Headed to Target now, I hope their Starbucks is participating.

I did it at two Starbucks – the first one was out of decaf. Two things I learned:
    1. The $1 off coupon from a few Sundays ago did take (there is a barista code on bottom) BUT it cancelled out the BOGO offer, so I obviously didn’t use it.
    2. The Starbucks at my Genuardis actually had a different deal for day #2. So it does vary by location.
Still, a great deal if you like Starbucks coffee.

I also tried texting (twice) and it didn’t work. I got the same “service access denied” message. How do you sign up? I checked their website but didn’t see anything about the 12 days promotion.

Former Starbucks employee here! These sorts of promo offers are usually just for company-owned stores (think the standalone ones in strip malls or with drive-thrus), so you won’t find the same deals in Target, B&N, etc. However, if you’re headed out to Target, there’s a new printable coupon on their website for $1 off that will stack with the $1 off newspaper coupon from two weeks back — so you’ll probably be able to score a bag for around $5 or $6 that way too. 😀

    Hope this helps!

The Target Starbucks has a different deal, but the stand-alone Starbucks was doing this deal.

I bought a bag of Christmas Blend and a cute insulated holiday cup that is for iced drinks for 16.99 at Randalls. That deal said “Day 2” on it. Normally each item would be 12.95. Going back to Randalls to check on tomorrow’s deal. Wonder if Barnes and Noble has their own specials as well.

I also got the store-based 2 pound deal, I went late and each store I went to was out of a different bean, but it worked out for me. Don’t know if the via deal will have as much quantity, so I’m going earlier.
