Reader Melissa let me know that Rite Aid brand tape is Buy One Get One Free ($1.99/2) this week. It is also producing a $1 +Up Reward for each tape- so you pay $1.99 for 2 and get (2) $1 +Up back!
It is the purple one in the weekly ad that seems to be working on this deal.
Also, I mentioned this on the match ups this week- but Melissa confirmed that she did find Ecotools items priced at $1.99 each. Buy 2 and you get a $5 +Up Reward back- so this is a $2 moneymaker! (They are Buy One Get One 50% off- so pay $2.98 and get 45 +Up back.)
Typically it is the bath sponges and the pumice stones and such that are priced at $1.99- so they actually make nice additions to gift baskets.

I’ve never done the up rewards before. Do they roll like a catalina?

I was able to purchase 2 of the 1.99 eco tools bath sponges. I got my $5 + up and was able to purchase another 2 and got another $5 Plus up.
If the eco tools bath sponges are still there on Saturday, I’ll buy two more. I’m making toiletry baskets to donate so it’s for a good cause.

Actually, it’s not just the purple tape… it’s the green as well… any of the single roll tape is $1.99. The purple is “gift wrap” tape, I think–maybe a slightly better quality? I’m not sure. There were two sizes of green, though–1/2″ width and 3/4″ width. You got less yardage of the 3/4″ width just ’cause it was wider. They were all $1.99 at my store. I bought 2, confirmed that it worked, went back and bought 2 more. I’m going to give them to my girls (5 and 3)–they love to make crafts and wrap “presents” so better if they waste (I mean use) free tape than the good stuff I like to use. : )

I also want to go back and check the price of their envelopes. I could use some and that could be a sweet deal on those, too.

the 25% emailed discount ends today – great for those bogof deals, and maybe the toothbrush!

I went in to my store this morning and they were out of stock on the cheaper Ecotools products, but I noticed a few of the more expensive ones had $1 off coupons attached. It’s a little frustrating to go into the store and seeing cleared shelves so early in the week. I got 2 boxes of envelopes for 2.29, then 2 up reward, so .29 final, and two rolls of the gift wrapping tape (it just says it disappears on most wrapping paper) for 1.99, free after 2 up.

Is there a limit on the number of UP rewards you can earn on the tape and envelopes? Has anyone tried more than a couple of times? Thanks!

The envelopes are $2.23 at my store & the tape is $1.49…..Both of them ring up B1G1 FREE & then produce 2 $1 +UPS!
Yeah!

Can’t comment too many times on one post, can I? : ) Yes, correction… the tape is $1.49, so it’s actually a small MM. The envelopes at my store are $2.29, BOGO with $1 UP reward on each one, so you get two boxes for $0.29! I bought four tapes (in two separate transactions) and got four $1 UP rewards for those. Then I bought 4 boxes of envelopes all in the same transaction and got four $1 UPs for them. Don’t know what the limit is, but it’s more than four apparently!

I bought 6 tape and 2 envelopes in one transaction as well as 2 Ecotools and 2 packs of Bic pens that are giving $3 UPs so I got $5 from Ecotools, $3 from Bic and 8 from the tape/envelopes. I went to another store later and bought 4 more tape and 2 more envelopes and my UPs printed for all 6 of those also.

Rite Aid stock is usually low so any good deals are gone quickly. The cheap Eco tools were probably gone on Sunday, it only takes a couple of coupons shoppers for the merchandise to be out of stock.
