Restaurant.com is offering 80% off once again.  You can get a $25 voucher for just $2 to numerous restaurants in your area with promo code: PRESENT.

You will want to read the details on the restaurant you select- most of them will require a minimum $35 purchase.  So you will spend $35- use your $25 voucher and have paid $12 total for a $35 meal! ($35-25= $10, plus $2 for the voucher).

Head over to Restaurant.com to have a look.  Be sure you use the promo code at checkout!

Does anyone know if you were to use a gift card on an 80% off deal would it only take the $2 off the gc or would it still be the whole $25 value??

Do you also have to pay a 18% tip on top of this or can it be part of the 35 spent? thanks so much.

No Becky you will need to pay for the tip as well.

If you have a gift card to restaurant.com, it takes the $25 off the gift card. That is because you already received your discount when the gift certificate was bought.

Many times on these 80% off deals, you can opt to purchase a gift card to restaurant.com instead, for the same price. The GC never expire, whereas the restaurant certificates expire after one year. That way, I can simply trade the restaurant.com certificate for the restaurant, when I am ready to use it. Plus, you don’t have to spend the whole certificate in one lump sum – I can purchase $25 today, $50 tomorrow, etc.

80% is a good deal from them, but I have seen it as much as 90% (for one day), and I have seen them offer a buy X amount, receive Y gift card for free (usually FTD florist, or another restuarant.com card).
