Safeway Deals 12/29-1/1

12/28/2010

You can see Safeway’s coupon policy right here. Most stores will allow you to stack a manufacturer coupon with the store coupons that can be found in the weekly circulars. You will want to be sure to get a club card for Safeway to take advantage of the sale prices! Safeway sale prices tend to vary from region to region so you will always want to double check your local ad! Also, I do not have double coupons in my area so your prices are likely much better than mine!

Tribe Hummus $2 off Coupon

12/28/2010

Share

There is a $2 off Tribe Hummus coupon available on Facebook.  This is a really high value coupon and I would grab it while you can.

You just need to like them and then enter the sweepstakes.  It will require access to your profile (I have a special Facebook account for these offers).

This coupon is a pdf so just be aware that some stores might refuse it.

Otherwise, you should be able to score very inexpensive hummus!

Thanks Rose Knows Coupons

Free Cool Juice Coupon from Facebook

12/28/2010

Share

There is a coupon available for a free carton of Cool Juice on Facebook right now.  This requires a bit of effort and I would suggest checking here to see where it is carried first.

It looks to me like the only states it is available in are:  Texas, Florida, Georgia, Nevada, Connecticut, New Jersey, Washington, Oregon.

To get the coupon you need to like them on Facebook.

Then send an email to them with your mailing address: ShoutOut@CoolJuice.com

And that is it!

I received a catalina from Safeway yesterday saying the free milk promotion is back.

If you purchase 4 boxes of Kellogg’s cereal (any flavor 8.56oz or larger) or Pop Tarts between 12/29-1/11 you will receive a coupon at checkout for a free gallon of milk (up to $4, any flavor).

This usually works out to be a a great deal with coupons and a sale.  I don’t see any Kellogg’s cereals mentioned in this week’s ad, but we do have some high value coupons available right now.

Since it is the end of the month, you might want to print them while you can:

As with all catalina offers this might not be available to every region. I would keep an eye out for the catalina announcements at checkout or signage in your store on the milk case or in the cereal aisle.

Here is a really nice deal if you use Prilosec.

Amazon has a single box of 42 tablets priced at $22.49- if you follow a few simple steps you can get this price down to just $5 a box after rebate.

1. Head over here to Amazon.

2. Click on the coupon pictured above- it should be in the center of your screen.  (Make sure you are logged into your account to see it.)

3. On the right side under subscribe and save- change the quantity to 2 and click on the yellow subscribe now button.

4. Your total should be $35.23 with free shipping.

Once your package arrives you need to do two more things:

1. Go back into your account on Amazon and cancel the subscribe and save option.  You have no further obligations.

2. Submit this Prilosec rebate for $25 back when you buy 2 packs.

So you will have paid $35 for 2 packages cash and you will receive a gift card back for $25 via mail in rebate.  Your net price is $10 for 2 boxes or $5 each!

Thanks SD!

Body Shop: 50% off with $5 Purchase

12/28/2010

Share

The Body Shop is offering 50% off when you purchase a $5 tote bag.

You will want to add the $5 bag to your cart first and then everything you add after that should be 50% off!

They also have quite a few sale items right now that make this an even better deal.

I found Body Butter priced at $10- so $5 after discount.

Lip balms and mini body butters are $3- so $1.50 after discount.

Under the 60% off sale area- they have Cherry Body Scrub for $5- so just $2.50 after discount (that is a steal!)

This full size color protect conditioner is priced at $4- so $2 after discount!

And they have some great deals on gift sets as well!  You might head over to The Body Shop to have a look.  Shipping is $5.95 flat or free with a $50 order.

UPDATE: Reader Kendall found a code to get free shipping on a $25 order: FACEBOOK70 or try NEWYEAR25.

Ebates has 5% back.

NOTE:  There was some confusion on a prior offer that was similar to this.  Just to clarify- the tote bag does not include all the items pictured.  It is just an empty tote bag.

Reader Christen found a few more deals to look for at Rite Aid this week.  Also, from what I heard from you guys, it looks like the Harvard Source items might only be generating a +Up when you buy 2.  The tags are marked at $2 +Up when you buy 1, but it appears that might have been an error and it should read $2 +Up when you buy 2. (Read about this deal here.)

Christen found erasers for .99, folders for .99 in addition to the pencils and rulers that are .99.  So it looks like these items are basically free after +Up.

Two other updates from Christen:

If you still have that $5/2 ad perk coupon from last month- the foamies for kids are priced at $2.99.  They are still generating the $5 +Up when you buy 2.  So that is a fantastic deal with the coupon- or just pay .49 each after +Up without the coupon.

Also you might check your store for bonus packs of Gillette Fusion razors.  Christen found them priced at $9.97 and they have an extra shaving cream inside. Use the $4/1 coupon from 12/26 P&G and get a $5 +Up, making the net price $.97.

At Walmart, it looks like several of you found the $4.44 Gillette kits with no problem and got them for .44 after coupon.

I also heard the Olay/Venus packs are on clearance for about $4.  If you can find the ones that show that little Allure magazine logo on the bottom, you can open it up and find a rebate form inside for $9.99 back.   There is a chance the rebate will be for the price you paid so I can’t promise you this will be a moneymaker, but a great deal nonetheless.

It sounds like some people are having luck with using coupons and others are not-but you can try the $2/1 Olay from 12/26 P&G.

Reader Michelle also spotted various Crayola kits on sale for $5-10. I checked at Target and did not see them marked down- but if you are planning a trip you might be on the lookout.

There are coupons available on the Facebook page for several Crayola products and there is a rebate available that expires 12/31.
