Today only at Toys R Us they have Tag books priced at $13.99- Buy One Get One Free.
You might get lucky and be able to use (2) of the $5/1 printable coupons. If you can- they will be $2 each! I think the price is still good with only one coupon- you will pay $8.99 for 2- or $4.49 each.
*There is no coupon policy for Toys R Us- so it will just depend on your store if they allow both coupons.
Also, don’t forget to use your Rewards R Us card. Every time you buy 4 Tag books, you get a 5th one free (I think they send you a certificate). I wonder if I bought 4 on this sale it would count as 4 bought or just 2? Hmm.
Charlene- could you keep us posted if you find a great deal on the tag reader? I know the best price I could find was on black friday, but I was on vacation and didn’t brave the stores! I did buy a bunch of books at Target during the early week of Thanksgiving. Thanks for all the tips!

I stop by at TRU during my luch break and bought 4 books – the total for all 4 cost me $14.38 (I saved $27.98), I use 3 of $5/1 coupons and I share 2 of $5/2 coupons with the lady who want to buy 4 books so I give those coupons to her. I am happy that I did use those coupons to buy for my son’s Christmas. Thanks for head up on this good deal or I probably would miss this post! 🙂
Do you think Target will do a price match with a printed email showing the daily deal from TRUS? Or does it have to be in the actual weekly ad?
Cali- according to the official policy they will not price match doorbuster sales and I think this would be considered something like that. Plus they want the entire ad not a print out. I think it might be a lot of bother because then you have to get them to take both coupons too. So you’d really need a super, super accomodating person to do this. Oh and I think BOGO sales are excluded 🙂

Oh bummer. My toys r us is a pain and they don’t allow 2 like coupons in 1 transaction. I think I’ll try using the $5 coupon and the $3 coupon from a mag. I think it was family fun magazine. Otherwise $4.50 isn’t a bad deal. Unless compared to the target sale a couple weeks back! I wish the tag jr books were included.
I stopped by TRU tonight and had no problem using the two $5 coupons together. Bought 2 tag books for under $6. Thanks for the post.
