This code worked yesterday and as of today is no longer working.
In case you missed this code on the prior JC Penney post, they are offering $10 off a $10 purchase right now with code: GIVEJOY.
Usually you do need $10 in your cart for these codes to work (not $9.99) and I tested this earlier on the clearance toys and it made my price go way up. So you might have to play with this one and see what happens.
This did work on the 6 piece towel set from JC Penney that is on sale for $12.99. This includes 2 of each:
- 30×56″ bath towel
- 16×28″ hand towel
- 12×12″ washcloth
If you select to pick up in store your shipping is free. Otherwise it is $6 to your home.
Head on over to Jc Penney to have a look- the site was moving pretty quickly for me.

It only gave me $2.60 off, making it $11.25? any suggestions before they are all gone.
This code says that it is 20% off when using a JCP credit card…not $10/$10 anymore 🙁
When I tried the code it was only valid for 20% off using a JCP credit card. Stink!

Hmm, I’m having some troubles with this. Any tricks on getting it to work? I put the towel set in my cart, plugged in the GIVEJOY code and it’s saying that “The promotional offer you entered provides 20% off when you use your JCPenney Card. To receive this offer, use this card for your payment.” and makes my total $11.12.

I think they have changed this offer to 20% off now.

Nope, worked perfect for me last night and I don’t have a single credit card for any store. It could have changed this morning.

Just got off the phone with customer service they said the code has changed. GJGJGJ is available for $10 off but it did not work on the towels.

I had received an e-mail that the order went through, but today I got an e-mail that there was a problem with the order. They are not honoring the $10 off $10 and said the code was released without authorization. Unfortunately it took me 1/2 an hour to get through to customer service to get this information. Did anyone get their order using GIVEJOY?
I got a call a couple of days ago that my order was ready….now to get my butt over there =)
