Wow there is a great deal at Borders today! You can get Hal the Moose from BuildaBear for $5.99! That is Hal above and of course the Borders version won’t have any clothes or accessories.
I tested this and shipping was free for me plus there was about .49 tax- so this should be a fantastic deal.

We got Hal and Hollie as a gift last year and they are really cute little animals. This would make a wonderful donation or a very cute and inexpensive gift. His little antlers light up when you push on the paw (or hoof?)
Just head over to Borders and type in Hal to see him. I bet this sells out fast. (Be sure to look for the shipping times on your order. You might be able to pick up in store as another option.)
I bought this in-store on Sunday for the same price. I had received an email from Borders last week giving me $5 free Borders Bucks, so I used that to pay only $0.99 plus tax. It is super cute and a perfect gift for the little girl next door!
Just FYI that it is showing as backordered and “ships within 2 weeks.” If this is a Christmas gift it appears there is a good chance Hal won’t arrive until after the New Year.
If you’ve ever seen the December 26th line at Build-A-Bear this may not be such a bad thing.
@Sarah, do the lights on his antlers actually light up? I have read on a few other sites that the one from Borders, the lights don’t light up. Just curious before I buy it.
