Free Coastal Contacts Glasses Starting at 6am Friday

This post may contain affiliate links, please see my disclosure policy.

The awesome freebie is available tomorrow from Coastal Contacts. I wanted to post this early so the newsletter subscribers wouldn’t miss out.

This will be the third time they offered this promotion and it seems pretty simple.  This is only for those that have not already received free glasses.

You just head over to Facebook and like Coastal Contacts. That will get you a code to use tomorrow.  Head over to the Facebook page at 6am PST or 9am EST and click through to place your order.  You will want to have your prescription information handy.

They will send you a pair of glasses of your choice totally free!  You will need to pay shipping of probably $14 or so.  This is the order that reader Jen received from them last time- so it is legitimate.

This is limited to the first 10,000 people so you probably want to be ready early.

This is legit, i got my free glasses the second time they gave them away, i did not get the free coupon though to give a friend. I got them a week after i ordered but they where the wrong prescription, there where WAY off and completely blurry. I dreaded calling them because of the complaints of bad customer service on their facebook page, but i had the Nicest Customer Service Rep Ever!! It was very quick and painless to return and i got them back a week later, I love my new glasses, they went quickly out of options so i had little to pick from and got glasses in a purple color i normally would not get but they look great.

I did this last time! They are wonderful! I ordered a pair that didn’t fit well, and all I had to do was call Customer Service. They emailed me a shipping label, and I sent the glasses back. I was actually running behind on mailing the other pair back, I received my new ones the same day I dropped the pair that didn’t fit at the post office! They also refunded me the money for my original shipping, and only charged me shipping on the new pair! Pretty awesome if you ask me! Just make sure you have your PD (PUPILLARY DISTANCE) number ready (that’s the only thing that messed me up!).

Was the offered selection based on ones under a certain price?

Sandy, you can click on the Facebook page and see all the details. I believe people received a choice of nice glasses- I don’t think it was like the clearance bin priced at $25 or less type thing.

The only frames you can’t get free are the really expensive (gucci, d&g, oakley, etc) that say “coupons not applicable.” If it doesn’t say that, it’s fair game to being free. The ones I got free were $88, my mom picked some that were $68 and they’re both of great quality.

I got some the last go around just in time for my son to rip my original pair apart. This are great quality, prescription and (of course) price! I would definitely recommend them!

I did this last time around as well and was very impressed with the selection and the quality.

They’ve done this twice before that I know of and were still giving away glasses into the late afternoon so for those that are worried that they won’t be able to get a pair, don’t worry too much!

Also, they say they’ll do free shipping on returns so if you don’t know your exact prescription order a free pair and then do an exchange for your actual prescription.

One last thing…they have an area where you can upload a picture and ‘try on’ glasses. It is amazingly accurate!

I got my glasses the first time. They even have a video on their site to help you. I ordered and received my glasses and then I sent them my money order of only 11.59 for an awesome pair of glasses. So you can pay later if you so choose to.

I received my glasses a couple weeks ago and I love them. I figured since they were free I’d try something a bit different, and I’m so glad I did.

I had to pay a little more for the lenses since my prescription is so strong, and I paid extra for the coating, UV, etc. All total it cost me about $50 for what would have been over $200. Now I just need to submit my receipt to my insurance company and see if I can get some of that $50 back. It was definitely worth it!

If I need to exchange the glasses, is it only able to change the lens but not the frame? Thanks

I love my glasses that I got last time this offer was available. I only paid $8.00 for shipping. With my order I also received a gift card with a code for a friend to receive a free pair. Does anyone know if this is one per household because I want to order a pair for my husband. Awesome company and easy to use

Just wanted to share with you all that when I tired to get through I was put in a “waiting room” but after refreshing about 100 times I got through. Then, my first choice of glasses sold out before I could order them so I was sent to an invalid server page but my second choice in glasses was available.

I ended up paying about $35 for upgraded lenses and shipping.

    @Julie

Yes, it does say it is one per a household at the bottom of the FB page.

I posted this same deal on my blog… I’ve been their facebook fan since the first giveaway but never gave it a real shot. Wanted to update and say that I just got some – over an hour after the promotion started! Yay! I am slightly worried about the PD measurement because I did it myself – Would have had my husband measure me but I hadn’t planned on ordering any but when it was still available, I couldn’t resist only paying the $8 shipping for a pair of purple glasses 🙂

I can’t seem to get these ordered-keep getting bumped out of the page when I entered the prescripton information and press continue-get an error message. Oh well!
