It looks like Walmart is back with a few new gift packs that are free after rebate. If you missed this last time, here is the deal:
The packs are priced between $9.00-13.00, Walmart is offering free shipping to your home.
You will see the little Allure reference somewhere on the packaging-this seems to be exclusive to Walmart and inside the packs is an offer to get one of five magazines for free OR you can refuse the magazine and get a rebate back for $9.99.
So basically you pay as low as $9.00 and get a $9.99 rebate back. You can read all about the rebate here.

Can you claim more than one of these rebates per household???
Jessica, last time people called the 800# and were told different things. So I am not sure. You can call and see what they tell you- I suppose the worst case is returning them to Walmart for a refund. The offer does not say one per household which is odd but most rebates are a limit of one.
I did this one time in the past and I DID get my magazine rebate. However, it took quite a while (maybe 4 months) and unlike most rebate checks, it was in a white envelope that could have easily been mistaken for junk mail. I was so glad that I opened it instead of tossing it in the trash can.
I ordered the Olay one from WalMart and still haven’t receveived it. I hope the 30 days to get the rebate starts from the ship date or I might be in trouble.
I ordered an Olay basket the first time you posted this deal. It arrived to my house in great condition 5 days after I ordered it. I read on another site that a lot of people were having issues with their boxes arriving damaged. I have submitted my rebate but haven’t gotten anything back yet.
I haven’t received my rebate yet, but my gift set was delivered within a week or so
I ordered the Olay gift pack last time this offered was posted. When I opened the bag, the box was completely smashed! The body wash and lotion were sitting at the bottom of the bag and leaking! You should buy these in store if you plan on gifting the set.
I ordered 2 of the Olay deals from Walmart. Received both packages. The rebate info was included in the package. I figured I’d use two different addresses just in case (I didn’t see anything about “one per household” on the paperwork). I was wondering about that.
A side note, one of my packages was damaged so I emailed customer service. I was very impressed with their quick response. They could not send me another one because they were sold out but they credited me $3.00 to keep the item. Gotta love that-money maker. I’ve been very impressed with Walmart.com…..had a couple issues and they have resolved them right away. : )
Are these online only,or are they at the store too?
I went last time and ordered 1 online got it in less than a week. Also bought 1 in store – they had a whole display mid-aisle near beauty. The rebate says 1 per household if I recall correctly.
I ordered the Olay one from WalMart last time you posted this. It arrived promptly, but the “gift box” packaging was completely torn up. However, the products were in good condition.
Received my package within a few days. The rebate form was in there. The receipt they sent did not have a date anywhere on it. Hopefully that won’t be a problem with the rebate. I believe it said “dated” receipt..
Really Desiree? I think a damaged box is no biggie because you need to tear into it to get the rebate stuff anyway. Wouldn’t that be awful to give a gift to someone that says free magazine inside and you already took it 😀 I would assume a lot of people are repackaging these anyway but hopefully the products are all in tact.

Michelle they can but if you intend to try and submit both rebates remember each rebate requires an original copy of the receipt.
I saw these at my walmart today. I think I will go back and get some. These are great gifts. I hope I can get more than one rebate back. Can you use coupons on these too?
I received 2 one was damaged, one was not. I tried to go online to use the codes and I tried it many times once not in caps one in caps and everytime it told me both the codes had already been used ): I am going to try to mail it in so hopefully it will work!
I went in store and got this last time, used the Secret coupon, got it for about $5 after coupon and submitted the rebate, but haven’t seen it yet. There were a lot in store. I am thinking of getting another one , they are reasonably priced gift sets whether you get the rebate or not.

I know the $20 rebate wyb $50 says original but I just looked at that fine print on this one and it says ‘a copy of the valid receipt.’ I wouldn’t think that they would allow one purchase to qualify for two rebates, but that wording isn’t as clear. I’ve only done a few basic rebates before so I am new at it and would hate to mess up and end up losing one or both of them!
My packaging was not anywhere close to being intact but thankfully nothing was leaking…oh well- it was free 🙂

Can we use coupons on these items in the store? I have never purchased gift sets with coupons before. As long as the product listed on the coupon is in the right quantity in the gift set could we use it?
Yes you can use the coupons and every so often a rebate company will reduce your check for the value of the coupon. That doesn’t happen very often but on occasion. You can check for any current coupons on any of the items by clicking on the coupon database on the right sidebar. Just type in Venus, Olay, Herbal Essences etc.. and it will have a complete list available.

Well Samantha there is a limit of one manufacturer coupon per item. A gift set would be considered one item.

According to the rebate for the magazine it says “send a copy of the valid receipt”. So do you think you can send a copy for the magazine rebate and then send original for Olay Rebate What do you think??
They do also carry these in store, but I am not sure if the price is the same or higher. They were on an end cap display near cosmetics, haircare products, soap at my Walmart.
I don’t know. There is someone insisting it works on Facebook but I don’t think she has received checks which is the bottom line. Personally I think it is expecting a little much from a company to use a coupon and submit for 2 rebates on top of that. I don’t like to take risks with other people’s money- so I guess you could try and see what happens. I would probably just do one or the other myself but I suppose you can try as long as you aren’t counting on getting both rebates back.
Mine also says copy of the valid receipt for the allure promotion…I’m new to rebates so would that be okay to do allure and the p&g rebate?

Looks like these are all gone online.
Purchased the set at wal mart. Opened the package to find the Allure information/rebate. Nothing is mentioned about the rebate on the Allure information. Used the link above to Allure where to offer to choose your magazine is posted. Choose the: No Thank You option hit send and waited for rebate informaton. No further option stated. How do I generate the rebate? I input my information. Will it just happen? Somehow I highly doubt it. Please advise.
Patricia if you have a package that shows the rebate information on the outside and inside the box you can not find it, you either need to contact P&G or return the box to Walmart. I don’t work for Proctor and Gamble or the rebate processing company so I can’t really offer guidance on what to do.
I just received my package in the mail today (which was perfectly intact), but when I went to the website listed on the little card inside it said content not found. Anyone have any suggestions?
Patricia -At the bottom of the page, if you read all the fine print, near the end it says if you do not want to receive a subscription to fill out the form below and mail it to receive your refund. The “form” is just three little lines asking for your name and address. You must send a copy of the receipt (at least that is what it says), and the form, and the card contained inside the package with the offer on it.
Set is $10 in store, and it does specify a copy of your valid receipt, which to me means a photocopy. My P&G rebate is already finished, but I sent in a copy for this rebate since that is what it clearly states. The $1/1 Herbal Essences coupon went through fine, not even a beep. Does not specify one per household, but you never know!
I ordered my herbal essences pack from the website and it just arrived, but the packing slip inside has an entirely different name and address listed on it (as though walmart mixed up the packing slips and mine is probably with someone else). So I’m wondering what you guys submitted for a receipt. Did you send in the packing slip (which I’m worried about doing obviously) or just print your order confirmation from your email? Thanks!
sure hope the shipping confirmation counts as a valid receipt. Mine came with no receipt in the box. But it does say you can use that e-mail for returns so I assume it counts as a receipt!
