Hmm. He is probably on the cusp. My 3yo has one like that and it suits her for now. She doesn’t quite get the peddle thing still and she is very tall for her age. I am thinking she will still have her trike next summer when she is 4.
I was thinking the same thing, I wanna get it just because it’s a great price and stash it away for a really nice gift for some one . But maybe I’ll get the next size up for my son thanks for the feed back.
