CVS has a pack of CVS brand batteries in the holiday isle that is a great deal. It’s in a plastic “storage box” and contains 10 AA, 8 AAA, 5 C, and 4 D batteries for $9.99. The box has a slot to store 9V too. Even with the B1G1 sale they have on their own brand batteries right now, you can’t buy that many for the same price. (and the storage box is kinda nice too!)

Oh yes Rebecca I saw that in the ad. I think I am a brand snob on batteries because the generic never seem to work as well. For those that are not snobs it is a great deal ๐

My plan was to take the RITEAID ad to TARGET to price match and use the 1.50 off any Duracell in the 12/12/10 RP AND use the 1.50 off 8 pk or more TARGET coupon in the same RP. Will pay 1.99 per 10pk.
Charlene says
Cynthia, the official price match policy for Target is to match a competitor’s ad price after all Target coupons have been applied. You can see the price match policy on the top of any of my weekly Target posts.

If you have not done the safeway delivery deal, you can do that with the batteries.. i did and it worked out great.

A side note on the Worklife Rewards for Office Depot…. if any of you participate, the period ends 12/31/10 for this year’s rewards. So, basically, if you have any rewards below $10 – they will not carry over to the new year. (I have $5 from signing up for their e-mails, so If I don’t get the batteries in the post above or accumulate about $5 more by 12/31, I lose the $5). Also, read their cartridge return policy very carefully if you recycle your cartridges there….you have to have enough in purchases to ‘cover’ the rewards you will get in return on the cartridges). Hope this helps someone…sorry for the long post.

Also check RiteAid. Some are having a sale on some Duracells and there are $1.00 instant rebate coupons on some of them. I got a 10 pack of AA’s with a glue stick in the package for under $4.00.

In refrence to the price match idea, why not try price matching at foodmaxx if u have one close by. I know they price match, accept competitor coupons and accept manufacter coupons. I dont know for sure if they price match non food items but they may. I have never tried non food but its worth a try. that would make the batteries 1.99 with target coupon, mnfc, and rite aid price match!
