I took the plunge and my husband just bought this for me for Christmas (yes, he knows this!) … LOL!!! I read quite a few reviews, some good and some bad, but overall it seemed like a good buy. I even read one review where one woman came back three times to review the product and raved about it … even 3.5 years later she felt compelled to come back and say how good it was and she uses it once a week! That comment sold me right there. As far as the referb comments – it’s sold by Amazon and if you aren’t satisfied you should easily be able to ship it back to them.
Tiffany if I didn’t have a crappy one that was 2x this price sitting in the closet I would buy this too. You can make jam and all sorts of stuff!! Plus it looks nice and compact. Mine is a monster.
