The Target Black Friday ad is posted!! I am really happy to see this one because it is the one store I will consider braving on Black Friday (maybe). I think this is a darn good ad and I think Target is going to set the price to beat for many hot items this year.
This year they are once again offering a free $10 gift card to those that spend $100 or more before 10am on Friday 26th. This is while supplies last and I can tell you there were people that camped in the parking lot of my store last year!
I am going to start with the not great news- Pillow Pets are $19.99 on sale. There is still a chance that Walmart will come out with a hot price, otherwise it is looking like the drugstores and online are going to be the place to find deals this year.
Here are the major highlights I can see:
::Wii Fit Plus Bundle $69
::iTouch 8GB 4th Generation $225 with $30 gift card back
::Xbox 360 $199 with $50 gift card back
::DVDs are always hot at Target- starting at $1.99 this year
::iTunes Gift Cards $20 for $25 card
::Leapfrog Tag Reader $24.99
::Sunbeam Mixer $24.969
::Chefmate Appliances $3- sandwich maker, toaster, hand mixer
::Kitchen Aid 4.5qt Mixer $199 (looks like just gray or red colors)
::Dyson DC17 $269
::Dyson DC24 $299
::Shark Steam Mop $49
::Oral B Professional Toothbrush $34.99- if these are marked with the 50% rebate offers they would be a great deal!
::Room Essentials Towels $1.49
::Tons of clothing deals- including kids jammies for $5!
What other deals are you looking forward to this year from Target?
*You can see other Black Friday 2010 ads that I have previously posted here.

I’m so excited I can walk down the bike trail to Target from my house in 5 minutes! I am hosting Thanksgiving this year, so I can get over there when they open!!!

I just ordered a pillow pet for my 2 year old son for $6.99 from dailysteals.com a few weeks ago! With the shipping costs, I think I paid maybe $11.98. It came last week and my son is enamored with it! Those things really are cute! I can understand why people would pay $20 for them… but since I’m cheap… ahem… frugal, I say why should I?
Judy says
I’ve heard there’s like a black Friday that occurs on a weekday for online sales, do you know anymore about this possibly?
Karen Han says
will they have it also online? I don’t think I want to brave the sales. @ the store, and the insanity.
Charlene says
Judy that would be Cyber Monday. I didn’t find it to be terribly exciting last year. I will have a post this week on Black Friday shopping specifically so just stay tuned for that.
Charlene says
Alana you ordered the Cuddlee Pillow or whatever not the Pillow Pet right? Those are less than $10.
Alison says
$19.99 is not a sale price for the Pillow Pets. That’s the everyday price. I hate when they put those in their ads to make you think it’s a sale. But they are also $19.99 at Bed, Bath and Beyond. Then you can use the 20% coupon or better yet the $5 off if you happen to have one. 🙂
Jessica says
I found pillow pets at my Grocery utlet for only 9.99!
Stephanie says
Pillow Pets were 19.99 at Kohl’s the other night, we almost got one… And they always have % off coupons going around. If you could match the 19.99 with a 30% off coupon that is $14. I am pretty sure they were the Pillow Pets…
jill says
Oh I want the $85 RCA dual-screen DVD player. It was $99 last year at Target on Black Friday and I wished I would have gotten it… but my Old Navy experience on Black Friday last year made me swear I’d skip it all this year! I might be getting to old for this, at the ripe old age of 27 🙂 haha!
Danielle says
Pillow Pets are about $16 at BJ’s, and they seem to be getting regular shipments in. If they are all out, ask them to look it up in the system and they will tell you when the next truck comes in. 🙂
Lacey says
If I was to buy the Ipod nano for $145.00(which also comes with a $15.00 target gift card), would I get $15.00 target gift card for buying the nano and a $10.00 gift card for spending $100.00. Anyones thoughts.

Hey Charlene…I would love any updates on Cyber Monday if you have a chance after the busy black friday weekend. I will be in TAHOE!!! So no crazy shopping for me…just relaxation this year 🙂
Jen T says
Is this it? Where’s the big screen tv’s and the treadmills? =)
Rebeca says
I have seen the Pillow Pets at Kohls too that you can use % off coupons on as well as stacking them with the $5 off email coupons. We buy the email coupons on ebay for like $1 for 20 and you would be shocked at how many things you can get at Kohls for $5. These are great for stocking stuffers etc. I just went today and used a 15% off coupon that I was mailed stacked with a $5 off coupon so I was able to get a nice food network coffee mug for 53 cents. Yipee.
Anne says
Oh man, these Dyson and KitchenAid deals are killing me! With the $10 GC when you spend $100, is that $10 for every $100 you spend? Like, if I buy a mixer for $199 and a DVD for $1.99, would I get 2 $10 GC’s?
Jen T says
It’s only one $10 gift card for the first $100. They won’t issue another on the 2nd $100. I saw an actual copy of the ad and it says only 1 GC =(
Jasmine says
I am honestly considering getting up at 6am just to go get a steam mop. I think I have reached a new level of insanity.
Alison says
BTW, how did you get the ad? It’s not on their website and it says it hasn’t been released yet.
Anne says
Thanks, Jen. I may end up dragging my reluctant cousin along with me to do two transactions. 😉
Jen T says
Anne – haha nice! What a great idea! =) I wish I could drag the DH along, but even if I do get up that early he’d have to stay home with the kids. I’m hoping the deals will be online too… I just don’t see myself up that early and then going to work later, with no chance of a nap because I’ll be with the kids all day. =P
Charlene says
Melody that is a very clever find!
Melody says
Pampers has pillow pets for 2550 gifts to grow points
Ashley says
They price match too and wal-mart has the steam mop for $36. I usually just go to either target or wal-mart and have them price match. There is no way I am going to both stores on black friday!
I also got a different variation of the pillow pet on gilt for $14 shipped. It has a blanket and i think it’s actually cuter than the pillow pets. 🙂
Charlene says
Ashley I thought those were cuter too. I decided to get those instead of the Pillow Pets. You got the Zoobie that I posted here:
http://myfrugaladventures.com/2010/11/gilt-kids-sale-today/
I didn’t order because I thought they looked small. What do you think is it too small for a toddler?
Ashley says
I thought they were perfect. I don’t think that my daughter will be replacing her normal pillow so i think this would be for when we go any place. 🙂
Cali says
My Walmart has the Tag Reader priced at $34 plus they accept competitors coupons. You can use the $10/1 Target Leapfrog Tag Reader coupon to get the Tag reader for $24 and you don’t have to deal with Black Friday madness.
