The awesome battery deal at Staples is back this week!
You can get a 20 pack of batteries for $12.99 and then they will mail you a rebate for $12.99 back. (You need to submit the information that will print on your receipt.) The rebate is not cash back, it is store credit from Staples.
There is a limit of 2 per customer.
There is also a coupon in this week’s ad for $5 off a UPS shipping order! That is an awesome deal if you have holiday gifts to send out.
You can read about how to register for Staples Rewards here. You will need to be a Rewards member to get the batteries- it is a free program.
Most stores will accept manufacturer coupons and there is a coupons for $1.50/1 Duracell Batteries, exp. 12-31-10 (RP 11/14/10 #2). So this could possibly be a moneymaker! I would call your store in advance and ask because each one will be a little different.
Hi Charlene! Are Staple Rewards cash back via a check in the mail, or is it store credit?
Susan- as I said in the post:
The rebate is not cash back, it is store credit from Staples.
Sometimes they offer cash back but this one is store credit.
I dont know if this will work the same manner, but the last time I heard of people using coupons on a rebate deal, they didnt qualify for it because of the coupon. Better be forewarned I think.
Its still a pretty awesome deal, regardless!
Thanks for sharing!
I don’t know actually. I have never purchased any of the rebate items at Walgreens- it is a fairly new thing. I asked a few other bloggers and they didn’t know either. I think the problem is that we are so busy posting the deals we don’t have time to get them ourselves 😛
I did this deal last time and used a $1 coupon. I got the rebate but it was for the price paid after coupon.
Home Depot has the 30 packs special pack for only $5 and use the $1.5 coupon. 30 batteries for 3.5, not bad at all.
Hey Chi Chi! That is a hot deal but it isn’t the knock off kind right? It is Duracell?
Duracell copper top 30 pack. javascript:openFeatureFlex(‘http://fp.vendaria.com/vpop/VpopViewer.html?uid=202499347&iid=AddpfzvImumvmKvJJIIKfwKILumLKv&bg=FFFFFF&nm=BZOpener&err=0&title=&pf=t&fr=t’,”,’587′,’632′,true,false,false,false,false,false);
It’s out of stock online but you may find it in store. I bought some yesterday.

sorry wrong link above.
Well that is embarrassing. Sorry I get comments as they come through on my dashboard not by post- so there were several asking about a Walgreens rebate and I answered the question here by mistake 🙂 Anyhoo- I do know about Staples. I personally have had no problems with coupons and rebates at Staples. I can’t promise that will be the case, so you are chancing it if you decide to use the coupons.
Ya, the ad says right in it that you’ll only recieve the price paid AFTER coupons and rewards….if I’d realized, I would not have spent my rewards on them 🙁
Charlene,
Can I use the Rewards that I got from the backpack a few months ago?
