Staples has some fantastic deals this week on cameras. They are offering a $50 gift card back when you buy a camera or camcorder priced at $149 or more. This is available TODAY and TOMORROW only.
The trick is that you get a gift card back to Staples, not $50 cash back.
Here are two highlights I can see:
Flip Ultra II HD Camcorder $129.99
You can buy the camera in store or if you prefer online and shipping is free.
Then submit for the $50 Staples gift card back!
*I did test this online and the price is listed at $149 until you start checkout and then it will adjust to $129.
**There is a chance you also use this Staples coupon to save an extra $15 in store.
Staples has 4% cash back from Ebates.
There is a chance you can get a deal on a Kodak Camera as well- but this one requires some leg work because they are out of stock online.*
The Kodak Easyshare Z915 Camera is listed online at $99.00 (item #892631).
This is 10MP and is listed at $199 regularly. If you can find one in your store, you will pay $99 and get a $50 Staples Gift Card back!
There is a $15 Staples coupon that you might be able to use as well for an even better deal.
*Some people have great experiences at Staples and some people have horrible ones. I would for sure call ahead and confirm the price, inventory and the bonus gift card with your store before you head out!

I got the Kodak today in store. They only had to left. They were on clearance for $97.50. The rebate for the $50 gift card printed as well as a rebate for 75 free prints.

The store in Salem has a few left in store and its clearance to 92 dollars!

Well, they had 6 left at my store, so I ran down to grab one. The only problem was that it isn’t $149 originally, it’s $129. 🙁 So, it’s not eligible for the $50 gift card. It was actually on clearance for $97.50 (odd). So, I passed on the offer since I didn’t feel like paying $82.50 for the camera after coupon. It’s a good deal still, but I am looking for a steal on a good camera. Thanks for the tip on it though!

Do you have an item number? I thought I chose the right one but the price isn’t dropping to 129. It’s staying at 149
Charlene says
Jennifer, I just opened the ad and clicked through. The number is 900430. It is $149 and says $10 off. Then I checked out as a guest and entered all my address and stuff and the screen after that says $139 and there is another $10 off coupon automatically applied so the total was $129 + $10.72 tax= $140. Really weird how that worked- but here is what my cart looked like:
Subtotal: $139.99
$10 off Product Purchase:
53404
More info
-$10.00
Delete
Delivery: Free
Estimated Tax: $10.72
Total: $140.71
That was before I put in payment info and after I did my mailing info.

Thanks so much for posting this info! I was able to get 2 cameras at my Staples store. In two transactions they ended up being 89.61 each with tax so 49.61 each after the $50 gift card rebate. This is perfect for us. We have a Canon Rebel, but it is large and sort of a pain sometimes so we’ve been looking for something cheap and small for me to just throw in my purse. The other one will be a gift. Thank You Charlene!

Thanks Charlene. I didn’t have the right one.

Trisha, darn 🙁

Hmmm, if Rose got it to work, I might be able to as well. Worse case, I can just return it. I’ll go back after work tomorrow and pick it up since the sale is good through Monday. I’m crossing my fingers!!

Thanks so much for the tip! My store had one left…but then I notice a Nikon CoolPix S570 on clearance for 113.00! With all the same discounts it came down to $48.50. The extra megapixels, and the slimmer size was worth the extra money for us! Thanks again for a great tip!

I just got back from Staples too. I have been on the lookout for a KODAK camera (since I love my other one) that had at least 10 MP & at least 10X zoom! This was a perfect price for me, even at $82.50 (after coupon). Mine rung up exactly like Rose’s, and I got the rebate forms too for the $50 Staples gift card & 75 free prints. I’ve already submitted the rebates online, so hopefully I get the $50 gift card still, even though the camera rang up $97.50!! I used the $15 coupon and I had a $10 gift card too, so so far I’ve only paid $79 (incl. tax) OOP.. if I get the $50 gift card, this $200 camera will have cost a net of $29!! I’ve already been playing with it and I love it so far!! I always need printer ink, so that $50 gift card will come in very handy!!

I just got an email that they are processing my $50 gift card rebate… so it must work even though the camera rang up at $97.50 clearance!!

I just got back from Staples. The deal worked just as listed above! 🙂 I’m going to put in for my rebate ASAP! 😀 I too got the free 75 free 4×6 prints or a 5×7 photobook. I love that this camera works PERFECT with my Kodak Easyshare 5500 printer!! Thanks everyone!!!!

Thank you!
I saw this post at 8:00 pm last night so had 1 hour to get the store. I bought the Filp phone…the store honored the online price of $129.99 as well as the $15 coupon you posted. Additionally, I had a gift card from a backpack rebate this summer of $29.99 PLUS I had $12.50 in rewards $$$ from all the paper deals I did this summer. $81 before the rebate, $31 after…WooooHooooo!
