I did the following deal yesterday. I had several of the Safeway holiday coupon books which is where I found the Banquet chicken coupons –

    3 – 24 oz bags Banquet Chicken Nuggets – $4.99 ea.
    1 – Safeway brand ice cream cup – $1
    Total – 15.97
    -$5 off frozen foods coupon
-$6 (3 of the $2 off any 24 oz bag Banquet chicken coupons)
Total – $4.97 for 72 oz of chicken nuggets and an ice cream cup.

So it’s only certain frozen foods? Or mostly all?

Carla I don’t see any restrictions. The prices seem to be really inflated- I checked Breyer’s for example and it was $6 a carton online! But if you want frozen veg and stuff, I bet there are great deals.

I wonder if the Safeway frozen chicken, shrimp, etc would apply? Because there are loaded coupons for those too.

Oh and I’m wondering if anyone has a list of the gift cards that apply to the deal? Or if it is just any gift cards?

On the gift cards, make sure you don’t get one a credit card, debit card, ticket card or Safeway card. Otherwise, you will NOT get the $15. I was bummed. The manager decided to give me the $15 anyway. My $15 have to be used this week(Dec.4). Shopping is done and now I have $30 to use this week. 🙂

    Hi Charlene,

Was wondering if the lean ground beef was a good stock up price?

    TIA

Som, I would fill your freezer 🙂 $1.49 is the lowest I see it and they seem to run ground beef every 10 weeks. It is the one thing I am always out of before the sale comes back.

Hi! On the coupon for the frozen food it says one coupon per transaction. Does that mean we can’t use regular coupons if we use the $5 off coupon together?

Thanks! I am a coupon newbie.

Mari- no you can use manufacturer coupons as well.
