If you still have your $20 credit from Rue La La they have a final sale going today that has some fantastic deals. I saw Tarte cosmetic sets for $15- so they would be free with credit. Most of the best deals sold out already but you might be ready for tomorrow because they have another sale starting. The sale starts at 8am PST or 11am EST and hopefully they have more great stuff!
If you didn’t get the $20 credit you might still consider registering for Rue La La. Reader Tiffany let me know they gave her $10 when she registered yesterday. The Rue La La new customer credits do take a few days to post to your account.
I purchased a top for .85 shipped. Already received my order confirmation and it is set to arrive around the 15th. Easy! I wish I did not miss the Laura Gellar though. Hopefully there will be some great deals tomorrow.
I purchased a top for FREE (19.85) after credit for my hubby that matches the Christmas PJS bottoms I bought him already, I saw it this morning and was waiting for the sale to open!! We had 3 different credits, I got the Hubby a tie for 7 dollars shipped, my son Reebok sneakers for 4.95 shipped last week and now this, pretty awesome! 🙂
I was reading on the internet about sites like this, esp. with Beyond the Rack. Alot of people were complaining they paid for something they didn’t get, which really sucked. 🙁 Now I am worried that I won’t get the hat I wanted to get for my niece!
How do they do this kind of site? Big sales…and then you get the credit and then its like…you have to wait 2-3 weeks to get it(if you get it).
It was only 10 but still! If a company doesn’t delivery do they have good customer service for fixing it?
Karen, there are tons of these sites and I don’t post any of the ones that don’t appear sketchy. I have not heard a bad thing about a single company I have posted yet except one kings lane which takes awhile to ship. But they do ship. I think they probably got thousands of orders in a day when they had the credit and that is why it took so long. They probably weren’t prepared for that 🙂 For Rue la la they take awhile to post credits because they vet emails- there was a ton of abuse on One Kings Lane- like say one person creating 14 accounts to get free merchandise- so RLL takes awhile to credit because they are checking it out.
For Beyond the Rack specifically, I have ordered 2x from them. Both times I have found the shipping to take awhile. I will say that for sure but I absolutely received both the orders I placed.
There are risks with purchasing from any online company.
With companies like RLL and Beyond the Rack items can take significantly longer to process and ship. Like with Modnique the items are ordered from the Manufacturer after the sale in completed. It can take weeks for orders to be fulfilled. In Modniques case they ask you allow 14 days just for the order to be processed and shipped from the manf. and then another 2-7 days for shipment.
We can protect ourselves from non-receipt of merchandise by keeping all receipts and disputing transaction with our CC companies if items do not arrive within time frame stated.
I personally have heard bad things about RLL’s return policy and buyers not being credited for returns. While this does seem rare I’m sure it does happen. You may want to Google reviews of a company before deciding to purchase. I feel as though RLL”s happy customers greatly outweigh the unhappy.
I’m bummed! Had my order in cart to purchase, only 4.95 after credit. And put in my m.c # and they said they don’t take m.c even though they have the logo right above it! Can’t find any contact # or email to address this 🙁
