New Olay Rebate

There is a new Olay rebate available today.  I am very happy to see this one as it is on any Olay items not just the Pro X.  This rebate is valid from 11/1-1/31 and you just need to spend $50 before coupons on any facial moisturizers, treatments or cleansers.  You do not need to purchase everything in one trip but you do need to send in all the UPC codes.

There are several ways to really get a great deal this week:

CVS:

Olay Pro X Cleanser is $10
Get $5 ECB back
Use $1/1 from 10/31 P&G
Final Price: $4 and you have $10 toward your rebate!

TARGET:

There is a deal running at Target- get a $5 gift card when you buy 2 Olay. This is working on some super inexpensive items- like $2.84 toner and $3.50 cleanser.  So here is one deal idea:

Purchase (8) Olay Foaming Face Washes at $3.50 each
Purchase (8) Refreshing Toners at $2.84 each
Receive (8) $5 Target Gift Cards
And then submit for the $20 Olay Rebate
All items FREE + $9.82 money maker after giftcards & rebate
(Thanks Kansas City Mamas)

Obviously you would want to break that into different transactions so you don’t wipe out a store of all their inventory. You can use $1 coupons from 10/31 P&G but Target has been having issues lately with coupons and gift card deals.  If you have other items in your transaction, you should be OK.  If you just intend to buy these Olay items, you might have beep issues at the register.  (I think you can also try going to customer service and getting credited for your coupons after the transaction as well.)

One other issue is that only 4 Olay coupons can be used in one transaction (this is a new stipulation on P&G coupons.)

What clever ideas do you guys have to make this rebate work?

I am thinking of waiting until 11/21 at Rite Aid. I don’t know the prices, but if you get two specific regenerist products, you get $20 back in SCR. Seems like you could come out ahead between that and the Olay rebate.

Karentina, I am thinking that too. I want to try to get really good skincare- so I might buy the Pro X at CVS this week and then just see where the next great deal comes on the better stuff.

I requested a coupon from the Olay website (saw it on TV) and got a $5.00 off any full size Pro-X product. It came pretty quick, so maybe you can get it by next week for the Rite Aid deal?

Charlene, Is that the full size cleanser that is $17-$20 at the drugstores?

Yes Nicole- the white one with red writing. It has been that price for a few weeks but I haven’t double checked since Sunday so maybe they went back up.

Charlene – Does the toner qualify for the rebate? Is it considered a facial cleanser or treatment?

Trish, That is a good question. The last few times the toner has been fine. If you look at Olay.com it is in its own section though. It might be better to buy the cleanser just so you are certain. Besides who needs 8 toners anyway 🙂

hmmm…. I see what you mean about the toner being by itself, I wonder if it has always been like that… well I already got it so I’ll just hope for the best…still a great deal…and I actually do like the toners and so do my sisters 🙂
